GautiMaan Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 There was no need for a Project Raina, guy had an avg of 35+ and SR of 85+ at 6,wonder why they had to mess with that
Marut Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 A Nohit thread a day, keeps the boredom away.
The Realist Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Since his 200 v Aus Nohit has played 11 ODIs and averages 20 something. He is the batting equivalent of Ishant Sharma - always picked despite doing nothing on the pitch. #LongRopeClub
rahulrulezz Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Rohit Sharma typical Innings 9 of 25, 14 of 31, 3 of 14, 28 of 53 etc etc... Next WC is not in India for god sake....Why do we have to be stuck with this guy
Number Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Lets hope he fails against Afghani bowlers also and that ends his cricket career.
zep1706 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 But he is talented. :hysterical: :hysterical:
vvvslaxman Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Ya it looks so bad because replacements were not logical choices. Should have picked Uthappa.
Lord Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 why not Yuvraj or Sehwag then if you are going by past performances and not recent form
vvvslaxman Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Rayudu's List A career is shocking. This drama queen acted as if whole hyderabad was against him. He has a grand total of 1 century in List A. Strike rate 77 on INdian pattas against Indian bowlers. average of 35.
putrevus Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 no raina needed to go , if he has any chance to become better he had to be dropped.
someone Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 He didn't do bad in New Zealand. And can make crucial contributions in the game.
Marut Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 He has not scored runs so far, he has played only weak opposition so far, scored his only 50 against Zimbo boys, he has not oozed confidence while batting, he has a mediocre domestic ODI record. Not worth investing any more.
TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 What worries me more than the pressure of captaincy affecting him is the pressure of expectations affecting him. Head and shoulders above every player in the team right now, and with this team especially, without Dhoni's superb finishing skills, India would be in big trouble if Kohli gets out early.
