Why are there the north easterners in Indian cricket team? Why are they not interested in cricket? We should get every section of the country to play cricket and finally we might get a good fast bowler. These are some good reasons for bcci demanding more money from icc.

North eastern people are more interested in soccer. One of my friend from north east played for Mohan bagaan. Cricket is not very popular in that part of our country.

Instead of aggregated data OP has chosen individual test matches to highlight the fact shows person had hidden agenda. In individual test matches you may find even bigger anomalies. In late 90's we used to have 5-6 players from Karnataka (or bangalore ?) in test team. Isn't it surprising that around 2% population would occupy around 50% of the slots. In Australia I believe all three Chappel brothers played together. Doesn't it sound biased that around 30% of the team coming from .0001 or even lesser percentage of the population. OP is rubbish and would give a chance to some resident Messiah's to show how morally superior they are.

Their grandfather Vic Richardson also played and captained Australia. He had Don in his team.
