Bigger question is what caused the side strain?... ishant-sharma-2009-8-29-9-41-56.jpg
I wish there can be a thread in the chitchat section where your legendary quotes are updated :hatsoff: the memorable Smackdowns and the weird gay fantasies of Dhoni and Ishant it really cracks me up :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Im hoping that we wont have to chase 350 everytime,Pak and SL are not as beastly as Aus,so MSD may not be missed that much,my lineup would be Dhawan Rahane Chepu Kohli Rohit Dk Jaddu Ashwin Bk Aaron Shami Rohit and Kohli have to drop down as Chepu and Rahane wont be able to score freely in the middle overs.Hope Rayudu is dropped, was painful to watch him in NZ

I can see Rohit wasting too many deliveries as an opener thats for sure would like Rahane to open but we all know who the opener will be :((

Might as well send Rohit Sharma down the order then. Pujara to open and Kohli one down as always. And Rahane should NOT be in the ODI team.

Seems people have started finding excuses for Kholi's failure so soon. Personally would have loved to see him captaining overseas as there is no need of a captain for India in sub continent. But with the kind of opening pair we have got, we definitely need Dhoni's power hitting. Guess Dhoni pulled out by himself as he wants to prove his importance. But there exists a slender chance that it may back fire on him.

What do you do when the alternative is Rayudu:banghead:

You play Rayudu. Ajinkya Rahane has been extremely poor in ODIs. I'm convinced that he simply does not have the game to play in the middle order in one-dayers. Sending him at No. 3 would mean sending Kohli lower down and that simply shouldn't happen. If you want to send him as an opener, I'd rather have Pujara in that position who has done much better in List-A cricket than Rahane has.

^ Rayudu has a strike rate of 60,we are playing on tracks where the average score might be 320,atleast Rahane could do some damage in the top order,Rayudu will totally kill the momentum in the middle overs.

I honestly don't remember the last time Rahane did some damage at the top of the order in an ODI, so you're probably asking him to do something he hasn't done before. For the record, Ajinkya Rahane's ODI strike rate is 70.66, so he's probably the last person we could expect a quick start from.

It is his heart. He is heart broken because of the exclusion of Ishant.:giggle: Good time for Kohli to step up and show if he has it in him to lead for a long term.
