First priority is to win and in both games we ensured it was done with no hiccups(even though Yuvi did cause some tense moments in the WI game) Have never seen this much focus on NRR even when the group has just begun :hmmmm: I guess folks realize that if Ind wins all its game, there is no need to worry abt NRR. However, there are various possibilities. And not many would be willing to bet a million that Ind will win all its group games esp. in T20 format, so planning for contingency Note that Ind lost out on NRR in 2012 World T20. And G2 is supposed to be the group of death

Gayle tonked the Aussies last time around when they pretty much had the same bowling attack as now. He has to watch out the opening spell and gobble up their spinner(s). Strictly speaking, we just beat the 2 best T20 sides in the world and we just need to win against 2 more. One being a weak side, and the other being a lame one in the SC. Not underestimating either of them, but we CAN beat them, so lets stop being a bunch of pansies and just ****ing win the remaining 2 games. Screw the NRR.

Have to say though I am expecting Bangladesh to beat one of the 3..more so with India or Pakistan :hysterical:

Screw the NRR. Screw NRR would be more applicable statement if you could have claimed that we WILL beat BD & Aus. It is because of the word "CAN", Ind has to keep an eye on NRR Hoping that Ind remains unbeaten in the competition but there is no harm in preparing for the worst :winky:

Wonder what the best T20I winning streak is?

The teams that play the last group stage game are PAK, AUS, WI and BD - on All Fools' Day.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 our batting is in a problem because of 2 people: rohit and yuvraj. yes, dhawan has not scored that much but he will come good and was unlucky last match. he does not play selfish - plays sumb sometimes but is a gun player. Rohit sharma is a selfish SOB who is insecure and knows that rahane would beat his ass anyday any format, even IPL! Rahane and dhawan should open, they have good teamwork between them. Kohli at 3, RAINA AT 4! Raina is in form so why not send him up? Idiot management sent yuvraj and now we are in a little potential problem. Yuvraj/Rohit at 5 - one is needed, not both. Against Bangla, should be yuvraj cause he needs to fire against aussies. rohit is sh*t Send jadeja up the order for quick firing.

Against bangla: Bat first - set a really high total, crush the bowlers and that will crush their spirits. Bowl first - dont know about ashwin, would consider aaron but we've been doing well with 3 spinners... santokie and andre russel got wickets today so i would consider aaron with his yorkers at pace. Bascially, we need to win by a big margin to virtually confirm our place. we should crush bangladesh, and chase quickly if we bat 2nd.
