rkt.india Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 The moment you generalize and say that I said "veiled threats" for every realistic statement that was/has been made you are making a generalization. The ground realities of the country are not coded in cast & stone. The so called "realistic morons" used the ground realities (perpetrated by the eternal shehenshah Great bong) to peddle the similar kool aid which is sold across the border. Yes, for those to haven't lived outside their apartment or city, there are places on the earth where you are not lynched for a Facebook post which you didn't make. Derogatory posts don't give anyone right to vandalism, but certainly can provoke people. Not everyone is intelligent enough to understand things and mob is mob. And even if there is no vandalism, still people can certainly be jailed under current cyber law if someone complains like it has been happening since the amendment of this law 3-4 years back.

NEW DELHI: BJP MP from Pune, where a techie was bludgeoned to death on Monday allegedly by members of a Hindutva outfit, said on Thursday some repercussions to the Facebook post derogatory of Shivaji and Bal Thackeray was "natural". "What appeared on Facebook was very painful. Some amount of repercussions was natural," Anil Shirole told reporters outside Parliament. Sad. Coming from a lawmaker...it seems like a veiled threat Or is this plain TOIlet journalism messing with the quotes... http://www.dnaindia.com/india/report-muslim-techie-murder-bjp-mp-anil-shirole-says-some-repercussions-to-facebook-post-is-natural-1993685 At least seven persons who are said to be linked to Hindu Rashtra Sena have been arrested in this connection. When asked for comments on the involvement of Hindu Rashtra Sena, the BJP MP said, "We will have to find out who are all involved in the matter. Police is probing". He said Pune is a peaceable city and BJP workers are working to maintain peace in the town. .

hhunaeh Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 More communalism by TOI Pune techie murder case: Another man was attacked by same gang the night Mohsin was killed PUNE: It now appears that trouble was brewing in Unnati Nagar near Hadapsar for nearly an hour on Monday evening when a gang of 30 to 40 men drove around the area on their bikes, pelted stones and attacked at least one more person before they targeted Mohsin Mohammed Sadique Shaikh (28) and beat him up with hockey sticks, killing him. The other person who was attacked, Amin Harun Shaikh, told TOI on Thursday, "I was on my way home after offering namaz. A mob came and first broke the board of Ram Raheem Mitra Mandal. They went about hitting people and they hit me too. I ran and hid inside a shop," he said, showing his injured left hand. "On Monday evening, I saw 30-40 people pelting stones in the area and I got scared. Later, I saw a body lying behind a car on the road in front of my office," said Rajesh Lad, an LIC agent. Fifteen youths have been arrested and two minors detained in connection with Mohsin's murder. All 17 are allegedly members of the Hindu Rashtra Sena. Mohsin had gone to Shaheen Anjuman Masjid, a small local mosque in Unnati Nagar, to offer prayers, after which he went to pick up his dinner from a local tiffin centre. A senior police officer said Mohsin wasn't attacked because he was taken to be the one who had uploaded an offensive FB post, but simply because he sported a beard and was wearing a Pathan suit which marked him out as a Muslim. On top of the FB controversy, there were rumours in Pune that evening about girls from both communities being molested — a rumour that proved to be untrue. On Thursday, the Centre wrote to the Maharashtra government seeking a report on the Pune murder. Asked about the Centre's letter, chief minister Prithviraj Chavan said the state normally keeps sending reports over such incidents to the Centre and that he was not aware if there was a demand for a special report on the issue. Meanwhile, the city police told TOI that they did not anticipate events as they unfolded on Monday night. The local police team was at Hadapsar at that time, which was also tense, and had rushed to Unnati Nagar on getting information of trouble. "This is a largely peaceful area and we did not anticipate any trouble here," a local police official said. Satav Plot, Lane No 2, where Mohsin was murdered, has remained shut for the last three days. While a few shops started opening on Thursday, residents said they were still shaken. An uneasy calm prevailed in the area on Thursday. "Police came here on Monday night, but there is no bandobast after the murder. We are all scared as there has never been any such crime in this lane in the past. Since the murder, all shops have stayed shut in the area and have opened only today. There is no police patrolling," said Akash Shitole, a local resident.

Raghav_12 Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 I am not surprised posters condoning these attacks in Pune under name of "ground realities" and "provocation". This mentality is a definite outcome of having divisive, right ideology.

This mentality is a definite outcome of having divisive' date=' right ideology.[/quote'] More than ground realities, there is a universal truth that is theory of action and reaction which is not true just for science but every aspect of our life. It has nothing to do with being right ideology or left ideology. I despise this thing called religion. For me, there is only one religion that is being human, but that is not true for others for those who execute such incidents and yours or my opinion does not matter to them. They are going to do what they want and there is no cure for religion lunatics and it is true for both sides. Someone said something about Hindu god, you see Hindu groups provoking people and attacking Muslims. Someone makes derogatory pictures of Pagambar in Denmark, we see riots in India. Something happens in Myanmar and we see people vandalizing India. I do not know how is this an outcome of right ideology to suggest people to not indulge in such activities when we have seen time and time again that these small things can become big enough to create tensions among communities and some people are always ready to take benefits of the sentiments.
