No other sporting organisation in the world rewards failure so favourably. The problem is Dhoni playing Tests, in ODI he is good enough. But should have left the test scene around the Aus tour.

Instead of looking forward to their careers to end and smiling smugly like a sadist, I'd want the player to go back to domestics and come back refreshed. I don't want the likes of Dhoni and Ishant to be in the team right now keeping their limited abilities in mind, but instead of stupidly saying that their careers should end I'd hope that they improve and do well for the team in the future. It is too late for Dhoni, its not that he is 25. :giggle:

An opener getting 100 and 95 should not be dropped based on a run-out (if that is what is lingering in ur minds). Rohit may get to play one more test and if he fails in that, it would be curtains for him.
