Number Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 We are set for another decade of Yuvraj type player. Plays well in ODIs, comes into tests, fails in tests, gets dropped from tests, plays well in ODIs. Rinse and repeat for 10 years.

nevada Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 No. I like Raina - he is an exciting batsman to watch when in full flow and he seems like a nice guy but he is just not cut out for test cricket. How many times are the selectors going to prove that Raina is not test material? Raina in the test 11 with Pujara out of it just doesn't seem right. Aussies backed Steven Smith for years even though he was neither an accomplished batsman nor a capable bowler. And the investment has paid off handsomely for them. We OTOH destroy our best batsmen and push incompetents in their place.
