ThePhenomenal1 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 u cant be ducking all time especially when the bounce is low and bowler is bowling from round the wicket aiming at his body. unlike Clarke who took a beating on his body against morkel Rahane looked timid after one body bouncer, it is not say he cant improve. he definitely needs to improve. he did well in sa and nz, i thought he pulled well there. Sometimes it happens and wakes up the batsman, telling him what to work on. imo he should have been practicing like he did with amre before sa and nz tour. he was in bangla so his time would have been reduced?

It was a good ball that got him out, certainly not a bad shot.
gattaca Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 there ball was bouncing higher unlike here where it is not even carrying making it more difficult to duck. Even in Aus the bounce is consistent. Outside Subcontinent you generally get consistent bounce. He should be ok with this technique.
