They will be out of ICF for some weeks, and will be back during the NZ tour when Bhuvi didi will bowl an economical spell in a useless bilateral.

Drop these players, and give the bowl to Kartik Tyagi, Umran, Kuldeep, Mohsin, Hangargekar and others...let them play every series for an year or two without much tinkering. They'll do no worse than this 120kph bowlers.

We have some self proclaimed experts here ,are mentioned by other posters to get their remarks on certain players,situations , conditions

 

Abey tumlog pagal ho kya,all they do is stat reading and come out with bilaterals stats or games against minnows early in the tournament,inse kuch bh mat poocha karo,ye jo kahe uska ulta liya karo most of the times

They thought Boobie will do well here and even Ashwin

Now that conditions are back to what’s expected in LOIs, these bowlers have been shown their place.Not surprised at all.

We got super lucky so far with those swing friendly conditions. It’s the weather and the unusual timing of the matches in Australia that helped.

This is so f embarrassing to watch. Every single time, when it matters and when it’s time to show up against the big guys. 

 

The thing is this cycle is never going to end when we have guys like Dravid in charge. And the less said about these selectors, the better. At least with Australia, we know that they’d change things up. Our guys are defeatist. No wonder I’ve given up watching cricket for a while.

lol think of it. The only decent team we barely managed to beat was Pakistan. And those guys literally self imploded and it took some individual brilliance from our end. We found it tough even against Bangladesh.

Bhuvi even under the most helpful conditions is afraid of pitching it up and looking for wickets. He is KL of bowlers - has ability but prefers playing safe. What's the use of all this experience when he shits the bed when needed the most. Needs to kicked out but our dumbass selectors keep picking him and he will keep bowling "economically" in useless bilaterals and toothless performances in important matches. Rinse repeat.

Never seen a more harmless and friendly spell of bowling in a big match than what Bhuvi did today in his first 2 overs. 

 

No pace even by his standards

No zip

Minimal movement

Poor lengths ... bowling too short for a swing bowler

 

Just gently floating the ball up as slowly as he could. 

 

Oh wait  !  He did it in the last T20 WC too against Pakistan. 

 

2019, 2021 and 2022 WCs ... he has messed up every time.

Keeping him already wastes a spot

Ok,lets assume Tyagi,Umran,Prasidh,Mohsin,Patidar for two series,they fail these jholadharis will hover around and say atleast boobie was economical in bilats,look we have lost against Zim and BD

They always overlook the learning curve which these kids will go through,let them play overseas leagues

Give them assurance they won't do any worse than this lot has done

 

But again,Harshal and others will play as they didn't get a game this WC
