vishalvirsingh
i have a feeling that one of these net bowlers is likely to play in at least one of the tests ..at some stage one of the 5 pacers is going to go down and then avesh khan could get a chance to get in or may be siraj or ankit or basil...i feel one of these 4 could be played.. CoverDrive
West Indian cricketer Jofra Archer is getting some hype in BBL. He is bowling at 147-148 https://www.cricket.com.au/video/jofra-archer-double-wicket-maiden-hobart-hurricanes-melbourne-renegades-bbl-big-bash-highlights/2017-12-21 Seems to be bowling effortlessly. First wicket ball is slower one while second one is 147 We will definitely see him in IPL this year Link to comment

maniac
Wi bowlers flatter to deceive....all their bowlers are quick and bowl good lengths and have killer short balls but just can’t take wickets at the international level except someone like Roach who is a proven commodity. Link to comment

Even Roach is not the same anymore since his injuries as he lost pace. This would have been the case with most WI pacers of old if they had played today. Link to comment

Yes,only speaking in comparison to Gabriel,Cummins,Joseph etc. Infact Holder despite being a bang average trundler manages to sneak in a couple of wickets here and there. Link to comment
CoverDrive
Quality over from Jofra to win the match. Strikers were hitting everyone easily and target of 13 from last over looked very possible. HE bowled fast yorkers and short balls to win the match Link to comment
express bowling
Excerpt from an article in Indiatoday " Speaking about India's pacers, Pujara feels that their pace is an added bonus for Team India. "They are all quick, so we have that advantage this time. Our fast bowlers have bowled well even in Indian conditions when there was not much assistance from the wicket. They picked up wickets on flat tracks, against Australia," he said. " http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/cheteshwar-pujara-india-in-south-africa-test-cricket-virat-kohli/1/1122632.html We all know this but it is good to see Indian players talk about this aspect and acknowledging it as a plus. Did not always happen. Mosher 1 Link to comment
