And this trundler Deep is trash on true wickets. The only match this guy impressed me was his debut match. He is even worse than what we’ve seen historically way back in the past. At least those guys retained their pace for a few matches.
 

If you want to win series (or even survive) you have to make bold selections.

Couple of tests is not even right in a true sense, he did very well at Perth, technically he was dropped after only one bad match.

Never seen such steady drop in pace from Bumrah till 2023.

This pace trio lack bounce. And pace is there only from Bumrah in his quicker spells. 

 

Need Harshit Rana, Mayank Yadav and other tall pacy quicks like them.

Very few yorkers from Bumrah in late 2024.  Never seen this before. And the ones he is bowling are often 10 k slower than what he did even 6 months ago.

It's simple bro, Bumrah is getting tired.

He is carrying the burden of bowling not only physically but mentally as well. 

 

Bumrah is known to push his body to limits, he has bowled spells where he was clocking 145-147 in final hours of the day in the heat. But here he can't go flat out coz injury for him means the entire attack will collapse. 

 

That's where others have to step up, Siraj is almost as old as Bumrah and yet bowl slower than James Anderson.

 

Akashdeep is becoming another generic line length bowler and isnt putting much effort. He really needs to up his old ball skills.

Time to groom the next gen of pavers.Ravi shastri was asked a question by one of the Aus commentators about Bumrah's longevity The answer ' with that action may be another two years if he continues to bowl in all formats'.

 

Clearly it's time to give Prasidh, Harshit and others more games.Also may be give few others rookies a chance

Prasidh will be 29 in Feb...it's too late IMO for him.

May work as a stop gap but not for long.

Need to identify bowlers who are under 25 years of age, so that by the time they gain experience...they be 27-28 years old and can server us for next 7-8 years.
