At this point it looks like selectors and bcci has some kind of agenda against faster bowler, domestic is stacked with sub 135 kmph bowlers, any1 tries to bowl fast they are ridiculed, once they go for some runs they donot play the next game even when the other bowlers too went for runs.

Sub 140 kmph bowler make into A or emerging side, there should be some reason behind it. ..... And its not  like 1/2 TM every tm are like this apart from Kolhi and Shastri

.

I used to sometimes laugh when people said BCCI don't want to treat pacers and batsmen in equal terms for they fear their darling batsmen will be ignored by fans

But there seems no other reason perhaps they get inputs from suppastaa batsmen getting beaten/hurt by new pacers their ego in well fed by BCCI and state boards

When ind was not getting  140+ kmph bowlers and all they had dibbly dolly kind of swing bowlers and all other major teams where having some good proper fast bowlers on regular basis Ind commentators started talking about skill matters over the pace, eng commectarors also added to that because of the same reason they did not have any proper fast bowler to compete with Pak, SA, Aus, WI fast bowlers they added some cliche line faster it comes faster it goes like of things.

Ind cricketing system knew inside they lacked fast bowler, but they kinda start believing in their own lies. Do not think there was any skillful bowler before Bhuvi.

Zaheer started using his brains v.late into his career and had some kind of skill set at the end of his career. No one else. Most of them would not even able to hold their lines for 2 over. 1 ball here 1 ball there. They were nightmares for captain to set them field.

And the believe that a faster bowler is no good is v.deep rooted now, be it in coaching, tm selections, commentators.

Australia's cricketing dominance shall never be repeated.

There will never be a repeat of Mcgrath, Warne, Gillespie and express pace LEE

Right now teams are figuring out these 3 formats, can there be 1 side for all 3 or do they need 3 different teams or do they need to see it as white ball or red-ball or see t20 as a v.different format. Plus the leagues where the players want to go in and out of ntnl team to play these leagues.

Can there be a single super team do not think so in shortterm, can there be super team in 1 format or 2 format may be, once teams figure out what works and what does not work till then no a top player will be in demand to play those leagues and they will try to play those leagues when their natnl team is not playing some marquee series.

Eng changed so much suddenly but all the teams have caught up to them

Australian cricket dominance is often attributed to their mental ability, grit, fighting mentality, and courage. This is something that Indian teams, despite having special talents like Sachin Tendulkar or Jasprit Bumrah, sometimes lack. Even a mediocre Australian side can become champions due to their mentality. For instance, an ordinary Australian team on the verge of defeat against Afghanistan silenced Indian crowds in the WC23 finals. Remember the wide first over from a mentally fragile Zaheer Khan in the 2003 World Cup final that set the tone of the match.

This trend was started by Lord Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. Who told he is not interested in Tests.

Followed by Hardik Pandya.

Karthik Tyagi looks least interested in domestic . WTH is going on i have so much of expectations from Mayan, Karthik and Umran. Wish all 3 could have bowled together at their full potential for India.

Why would MS sideline him...both MS & Virat were fond of Bhuvi and even played him ahead of Shami.

It's not a mystery that Bhuvi hasn't played Ranji games consistently for UP, despite not being part of Indian international cricket for more than 2 years.

And no active cricketer will accept publicly that they don't want to play x,y,z format.

Why do you think he is least interested in domestic?

He dint play even single domestic match since last 2-3 seasons but always available for ipl even played few matches in last ipl before getting dropped for another trundlers. Also if he has injury why there is no update on his injury and kind of injury which is keeping him out of domestic since last 2-3 years.

These questions will come up eventually.

People can't wait for eternity, he was a potential Indian quickie in 2020, now we are in 2025 and yet we are figuring out if he is in for the next game or not.

I know he is just 24, but more he will keep on missing games, more people will eventually forget about him. He should have played for India by now considering the amount of potential he has.

He played full SMA trophy and Vijay Hazare trophy before last year's IPL where he regularly clocked speeds of 150-152k. Then got injured and missed most of the IPL, just played one game at the fag end and then again injured.  He missed UPL too. That was the longest stretch he stayed fit since 2020. Played UPL then SMA trophy and then VH trophy back to back. He has recovered now and started bowling in the nets.

I wish him all the best and i would like him to see play for India. Potential like him should not be lost in ipl glamour like shaw.He must grind it out in domestic and play for India.

That sounds totally BS; MS was a full-on BK lover, even more so than Brat, and Brat almost always preferred BK over anyone except Sharma ji ka dusra ladka in tests :cantstop:
