From the article,

Raw pace is highly regarded everywhere in the world, and generally it brings a point of difference to your team," Walter said. "So, for me, that's the main thing. We've got Will O'Rourke, who's probably the top end of speed in our team, and to have someone who can then come and back him up if needs be is very important from a squad point of view. But, as we build a battery of fast bowlers, we're very blessed in the country at the moment to have a large number of really good, strong fast bowlers.

"And we're just adding Fish into that mix now, giving them a little bit of touring experience, a bit of taste of what it means to be part of the Black Caps, and that just bodes well for our stable of fast bowlers."

The most soothing delicious looking run up and medium pace with touch of pseudo swing are highly shagged in India, despite churning out shytes after shyte in red ball and many times in white ball also

Pace is the first thing which should be sought after, them try to tune them by playing them more and more

Not talking about pseudo phast pacers like Prasidh and Deshpande

Mayank Yadav is out for atleast 6-8 months

If gets fit in above mentioned time, will play IPL and again get injured rinse and repeat,no fc cricket ,just play IPL and rest injured rest of the year

We should try to copy what the SENA boards do and manage  their teenage/young bowlers

Mayank has already undergone surgery in NZ.

Kamboj again, Deshpande, Vyshak, Khaleel.

Does Agarkar really think that they are good backups / replacements for Shami and Bumrah  !!

What is wrong with him !!

Deshpande seriously?  Our selectors keep CSK quotas at the top I think.

Bawa and Yudhvir are good genuine picks.

Bawa should have been playing India A series before test series.

Vyshak is a T20 bowler at best. Iske bhi camp lagane lage ab:facepalm:

Deshpande is in RR, not CSK.

CV Achyut Tamilnadu fast bowler. 20 year old. We need these kind of young fast bowlers to be groomed.

Achyut is almost 22 now and yet to debut in FC.

7 wickets from 4 List A matches.

Needs to play Ranji Trophy ASAP.

Has a very strong action and good height.

I have said this a million times. This Agarkar has gotta be the biggest moron I’ve seen in the selector circles. I’m amazed how people r not calling him out. May be now at least they might get over that delusion lol.

Prasidh was poor in the first 2 tests he played in this series.

But bowling much better today till his 7th over, although his figures nay not suggest so. This is because 2 fours conceded were off edges. And the English batters are on a rampage hitting all the bowlers.

He is regularly hitting 143 k to 145 k and getting bounce, zip and seam movement.

Needs to cut out that one loose delivery per over.
