Your entire argument is based on 2:

1: He is not consistent in bowling 90 mph. Like I said I’ve seen him do that multiple times. That’s his core strength. Off course he won’t do that everytime but he’s hit it in him and has demonstrated it.

2: Australians r not nervous / don’t have “butterflies” and hence no reason to push their bodies. LOL u don’t need to have butterflies to put extra effort. You can always take the responsibility n be determined to bowl quick in a series that’s hyped. Check his interview with the Jason / Fleming after the first match.

3: Your entire argument that somehow the radar is inaccurate just for Starc due to his angle / seam position is extremely weak. Possible but unlikely. (1 & 2).

Not saying the radar is “wrong just for Starc.” But speed guns aren’t flawless — release angle, seam position, calibration all matter. Even a 2–3 mph variance shifts perception. Ignoring that is just brushing off the technical side of the debate.

Off course they r not flawless.
That’s why I’ve said two things multiple times.

One of them was Speeds relative to the other bowlers of different kinds over entire game duration. If others look reasonable (they do) and then claiming Starcs speeds are weird is just some bias unless individual specific tech issues-

Now is every bowler unique? - Yes.

Is Starc super unique (terms of measurement challenges) compared to 7-8 other bowlers who played this series over 3 matches? - Most likely not.

Thats what I feel anyways. Whatever we can agree to disagree!

Vijay Hazare Trophy
Day 1
Simarjeet  5 wkts, Prince yadav 3 wkts against Andhra.
Gurjapaneet 4 wkts vs Puducherry
Raj Limbani 3 wkts vs Assam
Tyagi 2 wkts vs Hyderabad

Shami 2 wkts vs Vidarbha, Akashdeep was wicketless but tonked 38(24)

Majority of the games, it seems were played on flat pattas.

looks simar and gurjapaneet are proving that they are special...good report

Gurjap does not have pace, mid to high 120s kmph wont cut it at intnl level. And he is getting extra bounce but not that steep where it can trouble intnl batters

Simar has pace and some skill but goes for runs even in the games where he started well. he just goes wayward and starts bowling everywhere

Think he went unsold in IPL, so ..hard to say if its now fr him..

Just that Ind will need 4-5 pacers for wc in SA so may be if he do will in Vht and get a chance that is it

lalit yadav looks 140K...

lalit or prince ???

Prince clocked up to 145 kmph on effort balls in IPL last season capable of bowling early 140s kmph

IPL is not and never was the way forward for him and Kuldeep Sen etc. These guys should have been monitored in domestic and picked to play ODIs.
