Lone Wolf Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Prasidh is not cut out for T20.. one format where he is of no use. Regardless if he even plays in Perth Mosher, prudent_kreeda, express bowling and 1 other 1 3
express bowling Posted June 26 Author Posted June 26 Why was Prasidh selected for T20Is ? He should stick to tests and maybe ODIs. Could have tried Kartik Tyagi here against Ireland after a good IPL. rollingstoned, Lone Wolf and Mosher 3

express bowling Posted June 26 Author Posted June 26 3 minutes ago, SecondSlip said: What has he done in tests? Nothing much yet. But he has shown some promise in his last 2 tests. Picked 9 wickets in our 2nd test win in England. From my viewpoint, Prasidh is just a stop-gap and back up hit the deck pacer in tests and maybe ODIs. He will be replaced by Gurnoor and others eventually. But till the new bunch of tall hit the deck pacers are fully ready, he is just performing a role in the longer formats for the time being. He is not T20I material. He has the ingredients but he has not been improving, he can not be #1/2 bowler and can not be trusted to be reliable 3rd bowler in the line-up. He has some success in Odis only, but in test and t20is he is expensive. The issue is he can not sustain the kind of pace needed for his skill-set. A chest high bouncer with late 130 to early 140 kmph is no threat to today's batters. Vk1 and express bowling 2
Malcolm Merlyn Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Prashit going for 15 an over but he keeps getting chances but gurnoor ko nahi khilaya, outside of gripping wickets like in Chennai prashit is v poor
Malcolm Merlyn Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Why is gurnoor s name not in the squad today, I think he was selected

Rightarmfast Posted June 26 Posted June 26 The Indian management knows how to kill budding players. This is what they did with Umran ( saying he is not ready), Tyagi, and now they are doing the same with Suryavanshi! They deserve the loss. And the whole reason for not playing Suryavanshi would be the insecurities of some of the Indian players. If you don't play the players who are red hot, when do you play them? When the fast bowlers lose their pace, then? When the batsmen are already broken with frustration, then?
prudent_kreeda Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Badly exposed in today's match - -Third rate spin quality. - Middle overs bowling fragility - Worst player and bad attitude -Sundar - dropped a catch, trying to hit out every ball when needed to play with some IQ. Terrible over . - poor catching - Shreyas - Can see vulnerability against rising pace , so doubtful in sena pitches. - Prasidh - very difficult to survive in T20 without defensive and bowling skills . Not required in T20. - Harshit - Looks iffy while bowling 2nd & 3rd spell. In Sena pitches i would rather have Jaiswal and Gill among batters in pool of 15 . That Moondra guy looks so much better than all indian pacers .

His inswingers were really good in DPL..he is brisk around high 130s-140..I wish he increases 5km and can be in consistent 140s..will be difficult to face at international level.. express bowling 1
vishalvirsingh Posted June 28 Posted June 28 today's recommendations- BISHNOI should replace washie Vaibhav should replace SANJU Prince should replace Prasidh. Bishnoi will destroy Ireland by taking 2 to 4 wickets and giving hardly any runs in his 4 over spell. washie is a defensive spinner and Bishnoi attacking. if i am captain or GG i will play bishnoi always ahead of washie. only if i see that their batsmen have figured out how to play bishnoi, i will sit bishnoi in bench. There is nothing wrong with Prasidh but he has this habit of bowling some juicy slow balls in between his pacy bouncers. one of his overs costed a bomb 25 or 26 runs ...He has to learn this that bowling Slow balls is an ART, first learn the skill properly and try that after he has mastered it. Prasidh bowls loopy full pitched slow balls which are no where good. if he plays today ( mostly he will not be played which is correct too) , he will destroy Ireland by taking at least 2 to 4 wickets and win the Man of the Match award. DO NOT JUMP ON CONCLUSIONS that he is a Bad Bowler. Prasidh has the capability to be the MOM of today's match and get 4 to 5 Ireland wickets. he is trying to bowl straight and can get LBW's easily where as Harshit does not try hard to get LBW. Prince Yadav is straight and talented but if i have to choose one among Prince and Prasidh. Prasidh deserve to play for INDIA like Mayank Yadav deserves to play for India on his talent. Prince Yadav is LUCKY to represent India and he will be thrown out of Indian team very soon. He is a 130 to 144K pacer with good yorker skills. bcos of his yorker skills he should be good in t20 but still he is very lucky to play for INDIA. negative point about him is he normally bowls between 130 to 139k range and only sometimes becomes a quick bowler ( 140 to 144k), so 75 % of his balls are under 138k which is bread and butter for international batsmen. only good ball he has is a yorker. Actually if i was AGARKAR i would have picked Mayank Yadav or Left Arm quick bowler may be Arshad khan for ireland and england t20's. Mayank was unfit and is fit now but is gearing up and soon will take this position. Prasidh and Gurnoor are bounce fast bowlers and they are here to stay. what i dislike and hate about Prasidh is his loopy slow bowling habit. In a t20, always go for your best ball which is bounce on the shoulder at 3rd and 4th and 5th stumps. just in a recent odi , he took a fifer. Mayank , harshit, Gurnoor, Prasidh will be back up of BOOM and Siraj and very soon Siraj will be dumped if he slows down. Mayank, Harshit, Gurnoor and Prasidh are going to stay for long term. i have seen by my own eyes Harshit is faster than Prasidh and is our Main strike bowler when Boom is away. He scares the batsmen exactly the way ZAK used to do. Some times he bowls on the7th stump and gives a free stroke. Agarkar and Gambhir are MEAN, Selfish and that's why they will always get good results. if a player is playing for INDIA, he has to produce results Or go and play domestic cricket. That's why i was shocked when GG did not let Vaibhav play, maybe he protected the boy a little- which is correct I am sure Vaibhav will be allowed to open today.
