I take 5 kph difference. So maybe in 150 range.

Wild theory- Bhuvi's inclusion in 11 was to keep the faith of SRH team's sponsors.

After Kane Williamson leaving the side, SRH does not have a big intl. face to attract the sponsors. They might be going after Stokes for a big intnl star.

 

In any condition Bhuvi is a big contender for the SRH's captain's position. Rt now SRH only has Bhuvi as a big Indian name who can attract sponsors.

Which means that either he is not going to NZ or it has been decided that he will be on the bench and so no harm going very late.

This has absolutely proved they are clueless about what's going on in domestic scenes

Domestics are organised, scheduled,played without any purpose, precisely just going through motions

If they evr had a roadmap,they would have earmarked few to many guys by now

Playing same set of guys who failed time and again in every damn series ,events is pure deliberate ignorance on their part

Waqar hit the nail on the head.  He said that all the Indisns in the commentary box were talking about controlling the game with line and length seam bowlers. 

 

That is what most Indian cricketers, past or current, want. They don't like too much pace, bounce or swing even. They dont like the so called " risky approach " of going for wickets. Just supposed control in low profile bilaterals.

It's very clear he's not in their preference list, he isn't gonna play the first ODI and will surely miss second as well.
Maybe at the end they might throw him a biscuit by playing at 3rd ODI...only to forget him later and revert back to trundlers during the Ban tour.

BTW...where is Yash Dayal...he hasn't played any VHT match and he's supposed to be playing in Ban tour...hope he's not injured and hence be replaced by another trundler.

GT has already off-loaded Ferguson to K-Nr, clear indication that Pandaya too is not in favour of high pace.

 

Bhuvi should nt be in future plans, D.Chahar should only be played as allrounder. Also looks like A.Singh has lost the Zip up -front; that too  in just one season.

Strange,him being in all sort of problems against pacers bowling,as a batsmen he should have understood importance of pace ,but cricket fraternity in India is all about safe approach,which has another name today "meek"approach

I don't have any hope with present,future crop of cricketers to completely change our approach

Can there be a more eye catching player for SRH sponsors than Umran Malik. He can included in the 11 .

For sponsors what maters is the Ind intl cap/Ind star, this was the reason DC changed their captain to Pant replacing S.Iyer. And PK just announced Dhawal as new captain

 

DC saw the commercial value of Pant at that time and a hope of that he is future Ind captain. rt now Umran is not an entity who can attract Sponsors on his own.

18 wickets from 6 matches in VHT  [   1 + 4 + 4 + 5 + 2 + 2  ]

 

3 wickets per match in a 50 over tournament.
