From specifically T20 POV...Rasik, Yudhvir, Mohsin, Mayank, Hangargekar & Tyagi have the skills to do well in shortest format.

Yudhvir should be developed for T20s, can hit the ball down the order, bowls at decent pace and fielding is good on the boundary.

Hangargekar needs some fixing in the run-up he is not carrying any momentum which is building through, or need v.strong body to sustain pace with that kind of approach, this is fixable.

Tyagi, Mayank and similar kind of bowler have to be picked for ODIs first they have high potential can be long term solution, if they go for runs in T20s Ind commentators will go after them. Play them with Bhumrha in ODIs ask them to bowl in small quick spells of three, get  them bowled out before 40th over.

And once they are there bring them to T20is

Do not think its IPL team 's job to develop bowler or batter they are there to make money on their investments. And with IPL system where you have to release players after sometime there is no point in developing when they know player is going to be auctioned again.

Take Gill for instance KKR kept 3 of the top U19 players hopping 1 of them will make it big and when Gill made it to Ind team and is a regular they lost him.

They will pick ready made or marketable product, if trundlers makes to Ind team then IPL teams will pick these trundlers as they are more marketable and they will get such Ind players in their team as they have higher chances of making to Ind Intnl.

Couple of years back when Ind team was looking for a no. 4 all Ind hopefuls started batting at no.4 for their respective IPL team.

Development plan has to be set-up by BCCI, Identify 145+ kmph bowler bring them to NCAs work on them ask Domestic team to look into them and then work with IPL teams on that.

There are multiple 140+ kmph bowlers who are not being selected for their state sides and when they lose the sting they are considered.

Also in recent time what has been noticeable is that Ind fast bowlers are losing their pace when they are supposed to be at their prime - Avesh is 26 and bowling sub 135 kmph, Mavi is hardly touching 135.

This phenomenon is known as "The Koomar Effect"

even Harshit Rana..can tonk a few..we have so many of them only if BCCI is not clueless..about grooming them..

Can I place an order for kumar or 2 and a khan to fill the slots please.

Then we will think about adding the tyagis and yadavs and Mohammed's.

Yudhvir can bat

Akashdeep can bat

Rashik isn't not that fast but he bowls good yorkers at the death and swing new ball.

The assam pacers were quite impressive, all three were hitting 134-137kph range.

What immaculate line and length from the premier trundler of India. Only 2 no balls in 1 over with wides.

This is the crux. I'm not so anti-medium fast bowlers but they have to be accurate and very few extras.

Wow, this Mukesh Kumar seems to have some real heavy backing behind. Cant understand how a trundler, talentless idiot like him can be given so many chance. Whats the future of Indian cricket?

He is an all format star bowler. Only behind Bumrah now in pecking order. :cantstop:

All said and done, really really impressed by Arshdeep.

He has figured out the stock ball which is so vital for longer formats.

Seam position has never been an issue and he is tall so he can extract some bounce although needs a lot of work on that.

Average pace can improve but it's not that bad if he can avg around 134-135.

He is putting some work in his batting and that shows he has good attitude.

I hope he continues the good work.

Is this jogging style run-up of Mukesh kumar hindering some of his pace, do not think he is carrying any momentum into his gather.

Has a v.long run-up not building any momentum at any stage, need vey strong shoulders or arm speed to be consistently quick.

Innocuous Mukesh Kumar, getting picked in all 3 formats, is probably the greatest scam in Indian cricket.

Has very poor to poor bowling averages in the IPL, ODIs, List A and T20Is. Lacks pace, bounce or significant swing. Not that accurate either.

Plus can't bat and ordinary fielder.

Even a kid can read this that sardar arsh and even avesh khan has beaten Mukesh.

Actually my daughter in 9th says arsh is best n then avesh n Mukesh is worse.. I agree.

I shall be surprised if Mukesh is in test 11.
