wether. if you notice, in cooler climates he will bowl like crazy man. but in very hot conditions he struggles. although he did really well in aus tour back in 2021. also he was debuted 2 years late. he is realistically 33 34 tbh. i dont believe the 30.

Accuracy : 53% on good length 

Swing : 0.68 degrees

Seam : 0.74 degrees

Pace: 139.43 kph (excluding last 5     balls of a long 7 over spell)

 

False shots generated as a percentage ~ 34.55 %

 

Old ball skills are lacking as that false shot percentage dropped to 8.2 % after the first 30 overs.

 

He was significantly more threatening than Siraj with the new ball but commensurately less threatening than Siraj with the old ball.

Akashdeep was bowling many away going deliveries. Infact, 2nd day morning, most of his deliveries were seaming away. 

 

His indippers have more pronounced movement while the balls that seam away have less movement but still distinctly visible deviation. 

We just need a little movement to get the edge or cast doubt on batsman's mind..sometimes even holding the line is good enough..will be nice to see him in action in SENA.

IMO Yash Dayal shouldn't be there. Someone like Harshit Rana, Himanshu Chauhan or Mayank Yadav deserves that place...rest all are ok.

Bro,  good to see that the focus is on tall, bouncy pacers.  4 out of the 5 are such. 

 

But it's sad that there are just 2 fast bowlers snd 3 medium pacers in this list.  3 medium pacers is a bit too much.

 

They should have included Harshit Rana and Mayank Yadav and excluded Kaverappa, who is too slow.

The BCCI committee is actively scouting the country for promising talents as per Times of India. For instance, Khaleel Ahmed, previously absent from the first-class scene, was encouraged to participate in the Ranji Trophy for Rajasthan this season. Similarly, Delhi’s Mayank Yadav was identified but unfortunately missed the Ranji Trophy due to an injury. Additionally, discussions have been held with Arshdeep Singh regarding increasing his red-ball involvement.

Mayank Yadav barely has got any limelight...  He needs a decent IPL like Harshit Rana to be in the list. 

Kaverappa is tearing up sides in Domestic so he is definitely in radar. 

 

Harshit Rana is unlucky to not be there...  And that injury in SA came at worst possible time for him.  He was closest to a test call up...  And then bang.. Back to square one. 

Hopefully he lights up the IPL.

If Arshadeep maintains his pace by 135+ with his movement for long spells then he's not bad

I see his ceiling higher than someone like Mukesh or Avesh + he has improved his batting

And I'm quite disappointed with Mayanks Injury he seems to get injured at crucial times

They should have started picking right bowlers that should have been a motivation. Treatment given to Umran (he is also at some fault for not improving with his pace he should have won 2/3 games by now), Sen was not good at all.

Rana should have played by now he can easily replace Thakur, Imo Rana  could have replaced Thakur in WC team well. 

Yes Rana is not tested by how bad can he be, can bat a bit (hitting ability) bowl at decent pace.

 

TM and selector wasted their time with Unadkat and now they are doing the same thing with Mukesh. 

Its worse/no utilization of available resources

Arshadeep is aroundabout there in t20s,his Yorkers are surely up very much normal like others

Yes,he bowls around 55-60%of deliveries of his quota at sub 135

Seeing our pecking order in red ball I see him an upgrade over Mukesh and Avesh not much though as he too is a terrible fielder

I believe Bumrah should give monthly lectures to our upcoming pace bowlers..on how to practice..develop thinking..understanding situation..setting up the batsmen etc etc..

He should be a bolwer and as well as a coach..should do better job than Mhambrey..

Was talking about how Sen and Umran were treated by TM and Selectors.

Sen- bowled couple of overs and then taken out of attack and next match he was dropped saying he was injured .

Umran was dropped from Ind intnl team and then dropped, they didnt even select him for A side / Asian games/ Emerging Asia Cup. 

They should have been selected for such tournaments to get some confidence and game time
