paras mhambrey should be good as a fast bowling coach if he is working for INDIAN team ..if he is truly good , he can train him well and make him a wicket taking bowler.

 

fast bowler has to identify the right bowling line and length for each PITCH and that is supposed to be trained-

Which suggests he is very likely 148 on actual speed guns

 

Akashdeep was bpwling 133 to 136 on indian speed guns for ranji.

 

Now when you look at it he bowled 138 to 145 in test internationals

Have you seen their over rate ,could manage only 83 overs today even though they bowled lots of spin.Just too lethargic in the field.Wonder how many they will manage if they bowled mostly pace.

Think BCCI has fixed domestic speedometer since last season.

Vid v MP match didn't have speed readings. Y Thakur bowled well but was expensive initially In conditions that weren't great for fast bowling imo. He bowled well in the second spell. That Y Dubey guy either has a lot of time or the pitch was quite slow because he was coming down the track to nullify any movement.

Siraj should have been the one sitting out.

Very disappoined to see Akashdeep dropped after such an impressive debut. In a way I was expecting it after seeing Akashdeep not get a single over in the 2nd innings but Siraj bowling. 

 

Siraj could have been rested as he is not in great form. 

 

This " seniority over correct form " continues to haunt us. 

 

Akashdeep could have got so much momentum in his career bowling in bouncy Dharamsala. Bowler development  still takes a backseat for this TM.

Playing Akashdeep would have been good for Siraj as well here, competition forces everyone to level up, he needed some fire up his ass but TM keeps making him feel comfy.

This is the most good for nothing TM across all sports. I have never seen this level of stupidity, lack of foresight/planning, arrogance, stubbornness, low IQ takes, corruption, favoritism, all rolled together.

One dimensional cute swing bowling by the 2 Indian pacers in the first session. Looked good but not a single wicket taken by the duo. 

 

There was a lot of help on offer. But wickets did not fall. And when this happened, the 2 Indian pacers did not try anything to force a wicket.

 

No bouncers, no yorkers, barely any balls above 140 k and did not hit the deck hard. 

 

Brisk medium swing bowling by Bumrah and very medium.paced swing bowling by Siraj without any fire or Plan B.

 

If they want to take it easy in a dead rubber game before the IPL then why play at all  !!

How defensive are they !!
