Did they play in Gabba test? When a guy like Nattu is chosen over guy like Tyagi that is only conclusion.

No it isnt. It is just bias towards more experienced players. A safe approach

No, Nattu was making his debut there and he never played again. Why is it always bias , why can't it be young guy not good enough.

Natrajan already played in Odis there in the odi leg before, all the eggsperienced ones were injured

The notorious TM would always choose even a 1/2 Odis old guy over a rookie

Means had Tyagi been part of the odi xi just before he too would leptfrog others in the Gabba test

There was no harm in playing him in one Test and see what he got. As he was one for the future.

Playing Nattu was useless as he was never gonna be a Test bowler.

That means Taygi  was bowling worse in the nets. Their selection was justified as we Nattu helped them win that test by picking up some wickets.

Saini played that test so we can safely assume Tyagi was worse than him too.

Saini was another senior player. Broke down in the middle of the Test and never played again.

If senior player and junior player perform same in the nets then chosing senior makes sense.I don't think they would be selecting senior if junior is outperforming the senior even in nets.

Saini atleast is playing, The other guy Tyagi is not even playing for his IPL team.

Beardman the Aus U19 winning side pacer added to ODI squad vs England.  Found him and Vidler super impressive.

Seems Aussie management is having an eye out for future.

Beardman Loves bowling fast & said it is down to his fast twitch fibres he was blessed with.

Not Vidler? Interesting.

Last time Aussies gave a teenage fast bowlers a cap was maybe Cummins.

Tait and Lee also made their debut at 22 and 23 resply. Express bowlers donot remain express for a long time,Aus team tends to bring them early in to the set-up so that they can be groomed and taken care of

For the first time Aus seems not to have a proper express bowler or some1 who can crank up 145 kmph.

May be trying to inject new talent to find some1. Morris is recovering - he was not able to 145+ kmph in bbl other is riley meredith who was not the tearaway they thought he was , but has improved his t20 bowling skills

Yudhvir and Gurnoor are handy with bat, tall hit the deck bowlers who bowl in late 130's to early 140's.
Seems Morkel is bringing his "kind" into the setup.

Think TM just requested tall fast bowlers and these were the guys who were available, donot thnk morkel would know  any1 other than Yudhvir (Being LSG)

Natrajan was the only bowler who was included in Ind team after 1st test. He already played 1/2 white-ball games in Aus. Saini  broke down in last game.
