Nahid hasn't moved the ball much till now. 

 

Speeds of 137 to 148 k so far. Very good average speed. 

 

Tall pacer. Gets good bounce but bowling a bit too short.

 

Accuracy not bad but bowls boundary balls every over.

He is very raw, heard he is a late bloomer and hence still there are rough edges.

Though if he is on song he will be tough to negotiate.

They did the right thing in giving Nahid debut at age 21. This kind of pace won't last forever and better utilize it while it lasts. 

 

If he gets a bit of seam movement regularly then he will be very tough to handle.

Rohit and Kohli poked at channel balls. Gill was caught down the leg .. unlucky.

The most interesting thing was, all the Indian commentators were talking about his pace. And how Bangladesh needs to preserve him. And Harsha Pagle was jumping and calling him a 145-150k's bowler. ( He is, tbh )

Same commentators when an Indian quick bowls- Indian medium pacers are bowling well.. Indian medium pacers need to maintain line n length... yada yada yada!

It is in the DNA of Indian ex-cricketers to be afraid ( and hence be appreciative ) of phoren fast bowlers. 

 

It is also in their DNA to dislike Indian fast bowlers. Probably because they were afraid of facing the quick bowlers day in and day out in the nets. 

 

Maybe some of the new lot of Indian cricketers will be different when they retire.

 

Remember a statement ftom SKY a few months back. He said that he had told the MI management that he won't face Bumrah in the nets because he wants to avoid injury.

Yeah, BCCI will ensure they will have the best TV to watch the game.
It's just that BCCI will not allow them on ground, they love the dibbly dobbly trundlers.
