Yeah the run up/action tweak has definitely impacted pace. 

 

Hopefully he is constantly monitored and the old action doesn't creep in from muscle memory .

Needs to get used to the changes. Earlier he was peaking at 33 kph into his delivery stride. Would be interesting to see what it is now

I just hope Mayank has been told by mgmt to go easy till the action sets in his muscle memory.
He was bowling 140-150k which is good, but Mayank's territory is 145-155k.
That 155-157 speed is something else, which is rarely seen.

I’ve seen this across all bowlers including guys like Brett Lee, Nortje etc. They are never full pace right after injury in the first international match. I’m not really worried.

Hope not.  Accurate 155 k in a much different beast compared to accurate 150 k. 

 

And he was running in slower today compared to the IPL.
