akash is definitely one of the good ones that we have.

i agree he is not an express bowler like Mayank yadav and he is always below 144k and mostly under 140k. i kind of have faith that he will bowl 135 to 145k in australia. i mean to say he is bowling perfect Line & length and at a pace which is definitely not trundling - 131 to 141.5 k in india and that will be 136 to 146k in australia.

siraj has slowed down and his swing skills also are deserting him but i just hope he gets his Skills back as Siraj can get back into form and if he does , he is dangerous.

at this stage i would call Gautan very UNLUCKY- mayank, kuldeep sen, umraan , Hardik are unfit for tests and pacers like gurnoor brar and others have not yet proved that they are good enough. on indian pitches and even in australia against weaker batting line ups- mukesh is proving that he is in form. but i kind of trust GUATAM that he is honest and he will pick up good guys , yes he may not be able to ask rohit or virat not to play a TEST but he will definitely push them to perform

Ind tm and selectors kept investing in low-potential even to some -extent non-intnl quality bowlers have lead into this situation.

Are there any good bowlers who graduated from A sides or A tours ?? how many high potential bowlers played in recent duleep trophy??--2, max 3

Right now one has to question even the ranji system, can selectors go to ranji teams and get any proper 140+ kmph bowler who has played a atleast 2 seasons ?? -- No.

Bcci needs to put speedometer in every ranji game atleast one would know what pace the bowlers are bowling is their pace good enough for intnl cricket ??

The options Ind has as #3/4 bowlers are -- Saini, Mukesh, Avesh, Khaleel (he is back in reckoning just because he is LAF), A.singh, Rana, Akash deep

Really disappointed with Tyagi wanted him to developed and played for India by now. How come he never play any domestic… BCCI should adress this if a young prospect avoids domestics deliberately and suddenly appear for ipl they should put ban on such players , had so much of expectation from him.

Think Tyagi and many other who are coming from U19 system are not realizing that the times are changing they have to compete with player coming from system and also player coming outside of the system who are more talented who fell behind for some other reasons than talent and this is more true for bowlers.

Earlier it was if you have played  u19 wc you will get to Ind cap and able to make some place in Ind side, but now there is challenge coming from net bowlers who are not part of Ind cricketing set-up, IPL teams realized it really quickly that fast bowlers who were coming out of Ind cricket system are no good for IPL standrads  so there were more demand for Intnl fast bowler or Ind intnl capped fast bowlers.

Then IPL teams started looking and scouting, running their own trials now using 3rd party too and then they have realized there is more talent out side and they are getting pacer with higher pace rather than some sub 135 kmph bowlers who are no good.

Umesh came through this, Bhurmrah came through this yes they were playing in domestic circuit but they were no big names or big wkt takers but had big potential and celling.

Tyagi and other like him have to pull the socks make themselves available to what ever game they can play make some good noise.

And there are few who are just content in being able to secure somekind of IPL contract --Khaleel seems to be one of them

Harshit Rana should have played for India A today.

He should have been given the opportunity to learn what lengths to bowl in Australia.

Not just lengths in Aus, the pitches are v.hard too they need to learn how to land properly, many bowlers find it hard and get injured

Think he only goes as cover if some1 at this point in time. this could the order of their precedence

  1. Bhumrah
  2. Siraj
  3. Akash
  4. Pradish
  5. Rana

He hasn't even played IPL much due to injuries. He did play domestic last season. Can't do much if you are plagued with injuries.

But last year he was dropped from playing xi because he was unable to impress in one or two match which he played and Gil+Nehra has some unusual fetish with trundlers.

He played only the second last game for them when they were already out. He hasn't played anything since then due to injury.

Just saw Hasnain bowl. Seems to be bowling high 130s in this match but appears to be chucking big time.
Probably not but seems to be pushing the limits.

Injuries to Sen,Prasidh, really made our bowling attack weak,

If their absence the selectors had to back Mukesh and Avesh

They could have brought in Akashdeep during WI 2023.  And tried to support and groom Umran with more focus.

Haris Rauf is giving tough time to all Aussie batters this series.

Bowling at nice pace and hurrying them.

This is what role of out and out pace bowlers should be.

In Australia if you chuck you will be caught.

Prasidh  4 wicket haul for India A, albeit on a green bouncy track  ( which makes it less noticable ).

Would have had 5 if not for the Mcandrew drop by Rahul.

Hardhit, Akashdeep and Prasidh should have all played this match together.

Would have given us some idea about their relative efficacy in Australia apart from teaching them what lengths to bowl in Australia.

Given Harshit and Akashdeep more confidence too.

In Perth we can think about ....

8. Harshit .. can bat

9. Akashdeep / Siraj

10. Bumrah

11. Prasidh

After Prasidh's horror show on a radioactive Newlands surface

I will always think 200 times before playing him

Australia’s bowling line-up just like India’s is on its last legs lol. They are getting absolutely hammered by PAK in todays match.

I reckon the test series might be a close contest. But the problem is their batting is less hopeless than ours and that’s enough to seal the victory.

lol how quick things change. Just some weeks back I was anticipating Mayank in better rhythm and Harshit bowling in SA.
Now I don’t even feel like watching that series with the bowling line-up we’ve carrying.

Also don’t we have a better bowler than f Yash dayal in T20?? This moron Agarkar has gotta be one of the most dumbest selectors we’ve got. SA has got Gerald Coetzee and this is what we are dishing out lol. I wish Berger was also fit.
