Even Bumrah has bowled 142 k to 147 k spells in tests often enough with the old ball from 2018 to 2022.  When he went to his yorker - bouncer combo routine. He didn't play tests in 2023.

 

This year Bumrah has rarely bowled 145 k yorkers in tests. Don't know why. He is not attempting yorkers with the older ball.

I feel Harshit played first test only because Rohit wasn't there. After doing well there, playing him in second test was a majboori. Dropped as soon as he failed there.

If we have only 1 quality test pacer then he is bound to bowl within himself. But want to see more yorkers from him in flatter conditions. Bouncers too.

 

It was criminal not trying to develop new quick pacers in the last 3 years, with Ishant and Umesh leaving and Shami aging.

Washington and Harshit are dropped with Rohit returning.

 

He does not like young bowlers. Saw it when he was MI captain too. Never picked Mohsin Khan. 

 

We need a new captain with fresh ideas. Bumrah was so refreshing as captain

if selectors DONOT learn the value of a MAYANK YADAV OR UMRAAN or a genuine fast bowler , then INDIA will alsways under perform in SENA countries and continue winning in india , thanks to Spinners.

Bro, I watched very few overs in the morning when Head was less than 50.

 

Saw one bouncer and one rising short ball to Head by Bumrah.

i have been screaming why cant they play rishabh as a batsman and jurel as a keeper ( drop KL) .

rishabh mises atleast 3 catches in every test innings and lots of byes...he is such a small guy in height that his reach is too small , lots of byes are given.

again dear agarkar and GG- please listen to my request , play rishabh as a batsmen and if KL is better batsman and looking in form then play KL. 

 

last test he missed an easy catch of harshit's bowling too....

 

his keeping is one reason opposition scores so many runs as he misses catches and gives byes.

I saw fastest at 139.8 from Bumrah.

I am also unable to watch the game consistently. Following up mostly on apps.
