Can't blame on that. Bumrah has bowled 151 overs, Cummins 152, Starc 149, Siraj 144. Bumrah hasn't bowled significantly more overs than others.

Cummins also didn't bowl pretty much in Gabba 2nd innings - there were, like, 3-4 overs in total in that innings.

Cummins has other guys with him bowling who are bowling well. With Siraj blowing hot and cold, lot of pressure on Bumrah to pick wickets and that meant he has had to push himself more. There even a clip of him saying to Rohit that he has bowled enough and he can't bowl anymore.

I don't think its the right comparison.

Bumrahs action is more demanding than them.

You can't expect Umran to bowl same amount of overs as Unadkut.

But Bumrah hasn't pushed himself much. It's not like he has bowled quicker than he usually does.

Bumrah needs some work on strengthening, although doing at this age is challenging and needs further improvements in his runup

Yeah, but Cummins was young...he debuted at age of 18.

Bumrah is already 31...dont see many examples at this stage of career. Expect minor adjustments there won't be major reforms.

I am sure Bumrah won't retire anytime soon from tests unless the doctors say that his bowling will make him paralysed.

In the last test, Rohit kept bringing Bumrah back without any rest.

 

It's not always the number of overs bowled but the way they are bowled.

 

Rohit is stupid and selfish. Typical case of cutting the belly of the hen laying golden eggs.
