Ok, he was trying to swing the ball in first over. Hence bowling with tilted seam at 130-135k.
He switched to upright seam and is now bowling qucik 137-143k

Shamis seam is no longer seems upright, at least not consistently. His low height coupled with ordinary pace is making the ball sit nicely to be hit.

if Abhishek is not pulled into the champions team , it is a wrong decision.

At this form , no indian batsmen except Yashasvi Jaiswal can be picked ahead of him in ODI.

He should be picked ahead of any batsman on merit.

Ind has to look beyond shami, develop new fast bowler or they are pulling back the process 3/4 years. Ind already are running on lost time.

Ill-planning in last3/4 years has brought that Ind is carrying 2 injured fast bowlers in an ICC event (yes ct is not the top icc event) , Ind also wasted this series too if they are not going to induct/try out new bowler here in these bilateral series then when and where ....??

Even in a dead rubber match in a bilateral T20I won series, GG could not try out a new pacer who took 3 wickets and clocked 151 k in the last match. 

 

Ideal example of being too afraid to lose. Very defensive mindset.

Yes both captain and coach are in survival mode, plus 5/6 players in odi side are on either last legs or hanging by last thread.

I think they are playing Shami to give match practice and some international cricket before champions trophy to get him into rythm..

however I feel Harshit needs that too and should play ahead of Arsh in odis even if Boom is fit for CT
