yes the lalit yadav who was along with umesh yadav ...

he is 30-31 yo now, do not see him making to Ind side, he is not even in IPL. As mentioned he is sub 140 kmph. He should have been tried.

Think they missed on multiple bowlers like Lalit, Manoj, Pradeep these are tall and has/had decent pace which could have been build upon and developed atleast as stop gap the situation Ind is right now.

can some one give a genuine update on MAYANK YADAV and may be Umraan Khan

Mayank came back from surgery, he may be under recovery now , lsg still have him but do not think he is going to feature anytime in the 1st half of IPL

Umran he was playing smat took some wkts, think he is coming after injury so might be taking it easy, he is with KKR , kkr have their trusted Ind bowlers in Rana and Arora, do not think Umran will get many chances or chances in 1st few games. KKr have Pathirana, rana, arora, tyagi, fizz, akash, umran

i think lalit yadav is a bowler with some rhythm and is a bit settled in his run up..n he definitely bowls 135 to 145k..prince could be faster on average but lalit may be a shade better with similar speeds.

@rkt.india @express bowling @singhvivek141  your views...

Lalit lost his track in past few years....I think around 2018-19 he was doing pretty well. Then he just remained ordinary and even Vidarbha dropped him.

He was bowling 132-138 under speed guns, not too bad but nothing to be excited as well. Plus he is in 30s as well.

Gurnoor is in the right age. 25 already, few more years and he will become another Saini.

KKR has a good attack...Harshit Rana, Vaibhav arora who is also decent, Karthik tyagi who is hot n cold but has some serious potential, AKASHdeep was not too fit last year so did not perform well as a T20 bowler but is a Test India bowler so he can bounce back big time.

umraan got few wickets and i feel he has potential and hence can definitely suceed.

i feel the first 3 pacers will be Harshit, Akashdeep and Vaibhav.

There is no other way to Ind team now , its IPL  which is like the litmus test for selectors. Pradish did well in IPL got selected for Tests and Odis, Rana did well In IPL got into all formats.

Only mukesh kumar was selected to Ind team before the IPL

Thats the reason Ind is not getting proper pacers for Odis and tests :: need bowlers who can bowl good line and length with lively pace over a period of time.

They may or may not succeed but should have been tried in longer formats..

i saw Live- 9 overs from Prasidh( he got 4 wickets) and i guess 8 overs from Harshit RANA ( he got 1 wicket), also Arshdeep 6 overs ( got 1 wicket).

if these guys have come up from IPL then i would say that all the three have some skills- arsh is skillfull bowler, harshit is fast and Prasidh is talented , can be a rubbish bowler and can clean bowl batsmen and become Hero from a Zero ( like in the match i saw , he clean boiwled decock and one more batter.

nothing wrong in picking up from IPL then as these 3 are fairly good for ODI's and are here to stay.

arshdeep is kind of a terror in the first spell - atleast in his first 2 to 3 overs, he got 1 wicket and tembo buvam was only defending him in his first spell. in his first 2 overs batsmen is always watching him and trying to see what is he doing, ball swings and sadar has some tricks up his sleves so if the batsmen takes risks , batsmen ends up gifting his wicket away. in his second spell he turns into a DEFENSIVE Bowler and bowls defensive line n length , he aims to only not give runs- batsmen can gift him his wicket if they hit him even at the 10th stump. so he is kind of a MYSTERY...highly skilled to highly defensive. SARDAR has a long run up ( as if he is a fast bowler) and his run up is so slow - very slow run up.

Harshit always attacks the batsmen stumps or sometimes outside but only if he has SLIPS ( in odi's) and he is very very Impressive, 70 percent of his balls are fast balls -out of these 70 percent some balls can be super fast and some can evven HIT the batsmen head scaring the batsmen. his run up is not too long but quite fast. only his slow balls are visible easily, if he is bowling super fast , it is kind of not visible in the air and once it pitches , it goes even faster- clearly faster than Prasidh and Arshdeep.

Prasidh- he starts so slow with a run up as if he is jogging to the crease and he gets his long hands rotation in his first 2 overs and then in his 3rd over he will run fast and start generating Pace. his pace moves from fully visible to invisible at the end.  when his ball comes from his hand , it is visible in the air but if he  is bowling fast then after it hits the ground ball generates speed and can become invisible. this guy tries to take wickets ( at least in the match i saw), he was only trying to hit the stumps or bowling good BOUNCE. he bowls 2 type of bouncers - one is a short bouncer in which he is hit for a 6 normally or a second bouncer which suddenly comes up from near to GOOD length..dangerous ball.

For tests Ind need tall, fast bowler who can bowl longer spell and maintain pace and have zip and bounce. Thats where ppl like sen, arshad can play the thing is bowlers like sen are one dimensional in terms of t20 cricket  they donot have white-ball variations so they will always go for runs in t20is.

but have pace and bounce and bowls close to stumps ,its hard for such bowlers to do well in t20s and if litmus is IPL then if bowlers like these even getting a game is big ask.
