Not because of ODIs. H e started losing it when he started concentrating on too many variyaions rather his strength which was pace and bounce then. In that attempt, he lost his natural action and then wrist-seam and pace.

I think its possible. after a long time Ishant's Test wickets tally is more than 3 times to his Test matches played Steyn level genius will have it close to 5 times great bowlers like akram will have 4 times but good bowlers need to bring it to 3.5 times+
Temujin Khaghan Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 100 Tests - 350 wickets is a good pace bowler record for an Indian bowler who bowls half of them on flat roads at home. I think Bhuvi and Shami should reach it. Definitely Bhuvi is fit enuf to do it.

He was barely a finished product. He was a bit like M Vijay who could not switch between formats seamlessly.

It happens gradually but getting other things in your armery does not mean you lose your originality which happened with him.

It was nerves that lead to that wide bowling in that test but as soon as he got it wright, he troubled batsmen. He lost it when he tried to get outswinger going which changed his wrist position and resulted in scrambled seam.

Give it your all, take wickets and if its tough, hold one end. Just use your brain. Glad dhoni tried something different.

If not for Dhoni he would be in dumps of Ranji league and for all the people singing his praise now should realize that no Indian bowler was ever given such an extended run.
