time to bring in kl rahul. jiwanjot singh is a heavy backfoot player and may struggle against intl quality bowlers but deserves a chance considering his performances in ranji trophy.

Rohit will relish in those conditions......has played really well in c.t and wi opening in tough seaming conditions.....bounce will not trouble him. Actually dhawan might do well there too,very good player of the cut and pull. Will be a disaster to get a newcomer in those conditions.....only scenario would be to recall sehwag or give gambhir another shot,apart from these 4 it is pointless to think anyone else will setup up first time playing in those conditions.

You can be flash but need to show grit at times, but it really seems Dhawan hasn't got an ounce of grittiness in him, this won't take him far in Tests. In ODIs too, he will only be good enough to get to 30s and 40s. Even Sehwag being aggressive always had a decent defensive game and more than capable of grinding it out.

Why I think Dhawan will do well in second innings? He should play aggressive cricket, defending is just not his forte.
