He has done that pretty well Yesterday, he played a long innings overseas as well... Don't see a better / more reliable alternative at No. 5
bowl_out Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Dhawan surely looks out of place.... Need to try out a new opener.... I wouldn't mind giving Samson a go, at the top of the order... He has a fairly good technique, plays with a straight bat, and can clear the infield with ease...

The reason he was dropped from the ODI team Yeah. I remember that he went through a bad patch. The break probably helped him work on his technique and come back stronger. He is easily the best guy we have for No 5.
