He definitely did with his scratchy batting. When india were comfortably winning this, all they had to do was reach for the odd boundary. But they acted as if it was malinga in his last over. It was terrible batting by dhoni again that put pressure back on india for no reason. They gifted england the win and it hurts. Remember yuvraj's return game from cancer? The t20 vs nz, dhoni tuk tuk batting cost us that game too. And guess what, kohli set that game up too. World t20 2014 final, sends yuvraj ahead of raina and rest is history. Fact is, this moron dhoni can't play international t20s. Yet to get a 50. Not a matchwinner anymore and its a youngster's game. Let raina/kohli be captain and draft in younger players who can finish it off quickly. Samson, uthappa, even a guy like vohra. I'm sick of jokers like jadeja who can't even excel in formats made for them! Just want change and to win matches. Sick of losing cause of msd*ckhead

MS being a seasoned campaigner wanted to take the responsibility. Yes it did not come off today but not a wrong decision. Not blaming Rayudu either as anything can happen specially this format. As I said, this was quite a meaningless match anyway. Its like watching a 3hour bollywood movie on a sunny sunday afternoon. After test series debacle everything looks insignificant.

He didn't factor in the peach of a delivery Raina was going to get lol. Once he was gone, he was like a child lost in exhibition. Tried his "usual technique" of taking the match to 20th over so that his 20th over magic will happen again. Almost happened. He is not to be trusted over a period of 4 or 5 six big overs. At the most 1 over that too 20th over.

Dhawan was brilliant today and surprised me. We have guys who can bat at 5, 6 and 7. Guys like karn can slog so batting shouldnt be a problem but when dhoni has a job of 40odd runs off 30 balls he can't be trusted... unbelievable! Samson, uthappa, manan vohra, chand, get some guys in and become competitive. India see it as a joke for some reason and now we lose another game.

One of those dots was Dhoni refusing a single again And it was not taking responsibility, it was a big blunder from Dhoni. We lost by 3 runs and he refused 3 singles. Those two singles and a double of last ball would have won the match I am pretty sure the match would not be inconsequential for Dhoni fans like you if he had hit a last all 6
