Has the makeover of Priyanka Vadra/Gandhi begun already?
Won't make difference she is a another pappu like her brother and Airwind. These days these three are the star campaigners for non-congress parties.

it all depends on the situation and how you ask and whether you have taken permission to film. It was an inauguration function as you say' date=' not a press conference.[/quote'] So when do they ask him these uncomfortable questions about the huge wealth he has created by using his influence? He has Z class security...you can't reach him....he won't hold Press Conferences for people to ask uncomfortable questions. This person should be grateful he is not in jail .....

One can't film you and distribute the footage for public viewership without your permission. Thats a law in the US atleast. He did not beat the reporter or anything. Times Now is clearly over-reacting. If he is a thief (which i guess he is), let him be punished by courts.

Though Mr. Vadra has made a mistake by misbehaving a journalist but media is blowing it out of proportion now....One can not take away the fact that he is a private citizen and has right to privacy...why does someone needs to poke a mike onto his face and ask the so called "relevant" questions...If he has done something wrong let the courts take punitive action and send him behind the bar....I am certainly not a congress sympathizer but where do these media custodian went when Modi ran away from Karan Thapar's interview, just because dint want to answer baseless innuendos...There used to be a time when media used to sing songs of Gandhi dynasty and now that reins at the 10 Janpath changed, started dancing on the tunes of BJP....Media's position is certainly not consistent leave aside being objective...It is like running with the hare and hunting with the hounds!!!

Shocking incident, and worrying that it took the media nearly 10 years to ask the first direct question to the Gandhi family and its immediate relatives. Which was followed by their arrogant reply and offensive behavior. Remember in Rajdeep's purposefully false case in NY, many wanted an Modi apology. So can we have now have an apology from Sonia/Rahul. And another apology from the media groups employing Rajdeep for having a fraud and lying journalist.

Nobody "poked their mike" in his face. He was calmly answering questions when asked about his gymming. When the question got uncomfortable, he lost it.

When the question got uncomfortable' date=' he lost it.[/quote'] He went in d inauguration ceremony related to Healthcare and physical training center, so definitely would have expected questions related to his health regime and gymming.... When d line of questioning changed all of sudden, he got surprised as well as furious because for him it may simply be innuendo..Moreover he doesn't hold any public office nor has he been charge-seated in any case to attract such media scrutiny... Though one cant justify him getting physical with journalist when he had all d liberty of simply avoiding or ignoring d question... But my larger point was about d inconsistent, unfair and exaggerated coverage of dis petty incident by d media... Why did these morons have no guts to ask these questions when UPA was in d power... Why didn't Arnab Goswami, who dictated d 9 PM judgment on d issue, simply asked these very same questions to Rahul Gandhi when he did an interview with him... Media should remain objective irrespective of d political rein at d 10 Janpad... By being d puppet of their political masters, it would not serve d real purpose of it being d fourth and d most imp pillar of our democracy!!!

[/quote'] It would be a sham interview if questions are pre-decided. When you know that you are in the news for all the wrong reasons, you should be expecting such questions. After the incident, Vadra's security guards held the reporter for several minutes and asked for the footage to be deleted. Is that why he has been provided security? So he can strong-arm anyone that tries to question him??

you think most modi interviews were sham interviews - no?
Honestly, I have not seen many interviews. I saw snippets of his interview with Arnab, which to me did not look like questions were pre-decided. Arnab's line of questioning was similar to his interview with RaGa, but Modi seemed to have handled him much better. I also saw one interview with Karan Thapar that happened long ago in which he walked out. Other than that, I don't think I have seen any other interviews. However, is Modi the subject of this thread? Why does any thread have to drift towards Modi? There is a separate thread on Modi in which you can bring up such topics. Why don't we just limit this to the topic in discussion?

After the incident' date=' Vadra's security guards held the reporter for several minutes and asked for the footage to be deleted.[/quote'] This is completely justifiable. And as it turned out,the reporter ended up distributing the footage without consent

Its not bullying. The bastard reporter took away the footage for public distribution without taking concerned person's consent.

Then why was that concerned person even answering questions in front of a camera??

Excellent. In similar way I hope some journalist has guts to ask Amit Shah on details of Kidnapping and Murder cases for which he has been chargesheeted.
Yes. But I seriously doubt any Indian news channel would ask about terrorists sahadat. If we allow Pakistani media they would surely ask Shah as to why innocent LeT Terrorist were killed during his reign as Home Minister of Gujarat.

Some serious Lahori logic in this thread.....The time was inappropriate?.....:hysterical: He was taking part in an interview.......not addressing people at a rally.......he didn't seem to have any problems answering questions about fitness centers and what not.......what happened all of a sudden? If he didn't like the question......he could've simply walked off......didn't have to threaten anybody....... Besides, who in their right mind would willingly agree to do a televised interview where he/she will be asked about his/her illegalities? His reaction was that of a man with lots to hide.......a thug like him doesn't deserve any sympathy.......
