The cover drive he played was absolute text book. Let's see what he does tomorrow as he already got a start. He should make it count.

He should make it count. that drive is what made me his fan . in long run he will play for india, i have no doubt about that. i hope he can make 50 atleast so that he can get over his horrid debut ..

Those that he defended were done with soft hands, except one that hit his gloves. Played a lovely pull shot. Defended well and played a couple of nice drives. Poked at a couple of deliveries early on but looked solid after 4 overs or so.
