Pujara needs to spend more time in these counties.

fineleg Posted January 4, 2015 Author Posted January 4, 2015 Couple of things and india could have beaten this weak Aus team Despite stupid umpiring howlers and despite only 3 batsmen contributing among 11 players, and despite some wayward bowling to top order like Warner, India did get top order (first 5 aus wickets) quite alright. 1. If we had batted better against spin, Nathan Lyon And 2. Bowled better to aus lower order allrounders (i dont call them "tail") India could have won this Test series had we done these two right (and taking catches yes).

(Maybe he doesnt need it as much) Still living in the 90's :haha: No one cares about county cricket anymore India is the new hub of cricket.

Our bowling struggles are on flat tracks...where good line and lengths, and some variation are needed. And our bowling struggles are against tailenders...where bowling at the stumps is often the most fundamental tactic. In any case, by all accounts we've already changed our indian wickets into more green tracks in the last couple of years. And there's been a growing realization that this may have been counter productive. Might make a case for Kohli and Pujara to get a county stint. And county stint or not, I'm not sure Dhawan is going to be considered for much longer in the test format.
