Most Pakistani fans don't even want both of these in their team, but I do believe they usually trouble us a lot. Especially Younis, who has been playing for a while. I have to say that these two players would be the most crucial wickets for India to take. Let's get bit serious instead of just poking fun. Who you think.

Of course, Afridi is always there...the trick would be to ensure Afridi is coming to bat with 20 overs to bat. The longer he has to bat, the quicker his pathan brain farts.

I was thinking the opposite. I think in Indo-pak games and in plenty of other games, when he has come in pressure situation, he has actually gotten out early. When he has had enough overs to bat, he has actually score runs against us. Like when he used to open the batting. Not that it matters since his style of play is same, but it's something to note.

Hafeez would have had Dhawan in quick time. He did counter Irfan well in the CT.

Temujin Khaghan Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 known devil is better than unknown angel the problem for us (our team) is that, we dont know much about half their team. so that fear will be there. they have nothing to lose. anyway india-wi-saf-pak will play in the knockouts, so just play without any pressure. i guess thats what dhoni will tell the guys. but if we keep winning all games in the groups, then we wont face aus/nz until semis/finals. thats the advantage of winning all the games. also momentum.
jf1gp_1 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Pak is mostly a young side doesn't carry baggage like past pak teams plus whatever little they have played against us minus the CT game have done alright. I saw Ahmed Shehzad interview when asked about game against India was taken back how maturely he replied about concentrating on their game and even wished India luck for the game.

He looks a bit like 80's/90's Pak player who just used to thrash India, people like Salim M, Javed M or Ijaz. Also, Harris Sohail could be the new anwar. So, would want them to get out ASAP. BTW, dont think Maqsood would play as they either have to play 5 bowlers or can play Maqsood.
