Shivaji bhonsle Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Radhika ji, please avoid this thread. For others, what's your view on him?
StriKe Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 He is fit 100%..He will be our best bowler in KO matches :nice:

asterix Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 He's 100% fit... It's only that he has limitations... Best to sit out this WC. Shouldn't break the winning Combo when Shami comes in...
flamy Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Bhuvi will come good. They should play him the next match also.
CSK Fan Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Only play him if Shami is unfit. Otherwise stick to the original three
Cricket_Hacker Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Shami in,bhuvi out.Should be dropped after world cup

Lord Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Was hitting good pace so he is fit Needs to bowl fuller.Maybe should get another game v WI
sandeep Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Compare bhuvi's bowling to southee and you will see why he is warming the bench in this tournament. Even UAE batsmen were handling guys swing, due to that extra time they get. Hate to sound like this speed obsessed fan boys, but in this case it applies.

asterix Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 He can play against minnows to give rest to the main bowlers...

rkt.india Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 More case of wrong length then speed Also, with his action, he will never get the outswing Southee gets. His forte is inswing. He needs to keep bowling inswing and mix them with odd outswing. He has just forgot his inswing these days.
Laaloo Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 He is fit but just not good enough. As someone else has pointed out, he should be there to give rest to our main bowlers.
addicted4444 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 a) He seems to have recovered from the injury, but his match fitness is clearly not 100%. His lack of fitness did not get exposed because we bowled less than 30 overs. If he had to bowl in the death he would have been clobbered. b) He does not have any control likely due to the absolute lack of match practice. c) Every other bowler in the team has been able to add kphs to their bowling in this tournament, likely due to the pitches and the gameplan leading up to it. Due to his injuries, Bhuvi has been unable to do so. India should certainly stick to the other 3 as the first choices because the lack of practice is clearly hurting Bhivi.
Austin 3:!6 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I would play Bhuvi in all games. I still feel he is our best ODI bowler. Replace Yadav with Bhuvi
Austin 3:!6 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 No Mohit is a good bowler. I dont trust Yadav still. He is a spray gun and on a poor day against a quality attack he will be thrashed. Bhuvi and Mohit has much better control than Umesh which is exactly what requires in ODI's. In test cricket its a different proposition all tgether where you need pace and Yadav is perfect there.
