randomGuy Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 ^ sun pharma was overpriced at 1100-1200/- , it is 925/- at present, may go down to 850max, not below that. But sanghvi is destined to become the richest Indian again, and this time for a very very long time. World is getting older, people more wealthy and with health insurance. So the pharma spending will rise and rise. Sun pharma is a fantastic co.(3rd in the world by revenue after teva n mylen) and sanghvi (along with mahindras) is the master of inorganic growth ( mergers n acquisitions) too.
NareshK Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Its disgusting how some individuals have all this wealth whereas 80 % of people in India live on less than 2 dollars a day. What a pathetic country India is.
randomGuy Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Its disgusting how some individuals have all this wealth whereas 80 % of people in India live on less than 2 dollars a day. What a pathetic country India is. $2 figure may be outdated? In Delhi, a beldar's dihadi(daily wage) is 400-500/- ($6-7). In smaller places, the avg. wage will be less obviously but maybe more than $2. And this is the age for value-for-money products thanks to snapdeal, olx, flipkart, shopclues etc. For ex. this phone would have costed 30,000-40,000 5 yrs back is available today at 5000 (with cashback option too). Affordable housing in bigger cities is a problem which BJP govt. is expected to solve. Healthcare is cheap relative to developed countries but a lot of work still has to go into it

And it's a whopping 60.6 when you increase the range to 2$ per day. 60.6! SOURCE
dial_100 Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 These guys could do lot more charity than they are doing right now. Even when they do, they are donating to rich temple organizations or giving gold idol to a temple. What good is that. Charity is more meaningful when it reaches poor and needy. Until they do that, its hard for to give any attention to their riches. who cares.
