If not Maqsood, then it should be Hafeez. Younis and Hafeez are the only sane batsmen i see in the team besides Misbah. Younis is too old now. One more thing is that pakis need to get rid of Afridi. Not because he is not performing.. but because he is wrong influence on others. Most are thinking Afridi is hero even when he is not performing... then why do we need to perform. Completely agree about Afridi, we are already too late in getting rid of him... Sohaib looks v good prospect as a future captain to me, though he had some long breaks in domestic career because of fitness issues (otherwise he might'v started international career well 4-6 years ago) but seems back on track now. Watched him talking few times, sounds level headed about game... Also he is well educated, got MBA degree as well as masters in sports sciences...

Misbah is in great form, absolutely fit as compared to so called YOUNG Jamshed and Ahmed Shehzad. He can easily carry on the burden for few more years and he did admit that he is not planning to retire. It's illogical to think in that direction (Change of captain).
