Sid Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I dont think Jadeja has the ability to hit on these tracks.But I think Ashwin should come ahead of Jadeja and the last time it happened Jadeja scored during NZ tour (small grounds helped as well) ,may be it needs to be done again. If Dhoni didnt change the 2 spinner 3 quicks combo at Perth ,I am pretty certain this will be the combo for rest of the World Cup as well.Nice honeymoon for Binny & Mayanti.

I don't get this bs about keeping your winning combination irrespective of pitches. BK should've played. Would've got much needed match practice as well. Now god forbid one of the pacers gets injured an under-cooked BK will be playing in k/o.

Who knows that despite favorable conditions at SCG, Jadeja could go for a lot and not click against OZ bowling :dontknow: While playing Jadeja in hopes that he would finally come good, Ind could also be missing out on the opportunity to see if any one on the bench is in better form or shaping to get in to a match winning form .... such strategies are like a double edged sword .... which is why captains should try to play horses for courses Since Ind has put all its egg in one basket, let's hope Jadeja comes good

Also SCG is historically sub continental type wkt.So its not unreasonable either
