If they don't like Cricinfo, Times of India, NDTV etc. they'll keep visiting and watching to find things to feel outraged about rather than ignore and use other outlets.

Yeah Cricbuzz looks a better option.Their match commentry uploads much faster than the cricinfo app .Switched on to them for following matches nowadays. Their match articles looks decent too

cricinfo was denied media accreditation for IPL, plus once it got seperated from Star Sports, it lost a lot of mileage in India. Apart from that their cupboard of writers is plain empty. They have one Siddharth Monga and Sharda Ugra who chugs up most number of articles. Given Indian team's strict media policy, none of them have access to inner circle of the team and hence there isn't much to report really. And they are too lazy to cover domestic cricket indepth either. The secondary crop of Indian writers are largely ball by ball commentators and they are experiencing huge turnover (obviously don't pay enough). Coming to Sidharth Monga, he is a wannabe trying too hard to sound 'secular' and earn the praise of westerners and non Indians and do not hesitate to tick Indian team off. Sharda Ugra also falls into the same category but is more sophisticated in her writing.

I just don't think the cricinfo content is very good anymore. I assume the cluttering of the site was to allow more content to be available but there is very little worth looking at IMO. Jarrod Kimber and the occasional Chappell/Dobell piece are the only ones I tend to read now. The others are so flowery and full of fluff that you forget what the point is. More of a general point about the site rather than related to the OP, I suppose.

Their actual match cards feature build ups, giving you context for the matches. I loved it, i think i was on the India v South Africa game and it had me ready for the game. Underrated source, the main one i use now

They have a couple of decent writers on English cricket. Mr Hopps from Yorkshire and Mr Dobell who defends county cricket to the hilt against the evil all conquering ECB. One thing I do notice on there however is that nearly every thread is taken up by Indian fans (a lower class of Indian fans than on here of course :winky: ) spouting off about all sorts of rubbish, often joined by Sri Lankans and Pakistanis having their own private war of words on pages that don't even concern them. I've given up reading the comments at the bottom of their reports as it's just full of wind up merchants
