Shami has worked hard on his fitness looks like not only injury related but overall strength n conditioning looks like, with Shami our bowling attack will have more bite, Shami, Bumrah, will make good combo in shorter version n in test Shami, Ishant, Umesh, Aaron will be good options, also Pandya to me is impressive, we need to be patient, hope selectors finally develop some strategies n pick up Aniket C n Suyal n groom Avesh, Khalil, R Shukla also, to Ms Sarfaraz is the best talent I have ever seen personally, n will serve India for long

Agree to all the points.

Nathu Singh is another quick I am looking forward to.

MI  vs   SRH

Speed ranges of most deliveries ( excluding slower balls )

Bhuvi   134 k  to 141 k

Saran  133 k to 140  k

Bhuvi bowled very well today. His bowling had nice pace, some bounce, some seam and swing, accuracy and bowling to a plan. Bowled some excellent yorkers around 140 k.  Finished with 1 for 17 from 4 overs.

Saran bowled well too. Was a tad quicker than last match and bowled some good slower deliveries. Picked up 3 wickets today.

Indian pacers till now have been average.

Bumrah has under performed.

Pandya is also looking an average pacer.

Umesh has learnt to ball slow balls but his pace seems to have dropped.

Bran has looked average

I dnt mind player actually holding themseleves in ipl and not giving 100%.

A lot of players actually do that, i even felt mustafizur was holding himself today. Steyn said many times he did as ipl is long paid holiday. So i dnt mind umesh , bumrah holding themseleves back.

But i wanna see someone like Sran, Irfan patha, bhuvi or ny other new bowler or someone who is fighting his way back giving his 100%.

Umesh Yadav bowled really well against Punjab.  Saw him bowl to a plan after a long time in a T20 match.  Bowled lots of good slower deliveries and some good bouncers / rising short balls.  1 for 17 in 3 overs are good figures on this pitch.  His speeds of faster deliveries were between 136 k and 140 k ...as he bowled slower deliveries mostly and did not have the momentum to up his speed.   He bowled a few good outswingers in his first over.  Hit a batsman on the helmet with a quick bouncer.

Umesh looks like a far better bowler under Kohli and Gambhir's captaincy.

Spinners are turning into throw bowlers ..fenkte hain...many do as they are scared of being hit.

Flat tracks kill cricket.

I don't know why are they playing ipl on patta"s...sukha wickets.

On cross maiden , one pitch is a green wicket , that's sold at maximum price and teams book that pitch 3 to 4 weeks before.

Flat patta wickets mein net practice is also bad.

Aaron bowled well within himself yesterday. Did not consistently  hit the deck hard like he normally does.  Bowled some cutters too. Three of his  overs  were quite good  but his 3rd over went for a lot of runs.   Speeds were mostly  135 k to 142 k.  He is playing after such a long time and was understandably a bit rusty.

He did comeback well after that poor 3rd over. Considering that this was his 1st match this season and even after that poor over where he gave away 19 runs, he still went 9 rpo of his 4 overs. So he gave away 18 runs of his 3 overs out of which there was a 4 overthrow too. Almost every other RCB bowler went for 10 rpo (Watson, Harshal and Abdulla) in this match. Hope sense prevails and Aaron is not dropped in next match.

Exactly.  Things have to be considered in perspective. Excluding the 4 overthrows, he gave away 33 runs in 4 overs which would come to 8.25 runs per over.  Asking rate was 8.55  runs....so he was better than par yesterday and better than most other RCB bowlers. ...and he bowled 3 good overs.

AARON and Umesh seem to be bowling slower and are trying to even bowl slow balls in order to learn to bowl in t20's.

These guys used to bowl between 139 to 152k and always get 2 wickets - they always gave away runs.

now they are bowling between 135 to 142K and 135 to 145k and still giving similar number of runs - yes they are not picking that many wickets.

I strongly believe if thay have pace they can try out bowling on the wickets or on the offside outside at the 10th wicket- their strength is SPeed.. they can try out a slow ball once a while not much.

Speed creates FEAR, FEAR gets the batsman to go to the BACK FOOT rooted inside the crease saving his wickets and in a defensive frame of mind - in short genuine Speed normally scares the hell out of even good batsman and then the batsman cannot play to his true potential.

I have faced 130K quicks - I am only interested in saving my stumps , if I can fetch few runs bcos of the pace of the bowler.. that's what we get..but that creates so many slip and gully catching opportunities.

Coaches need to know AARON and UMESH are genuine fast bowlers- they will turn them into TRUNDLERS.

See Steyn- now he is a trundler.....UAE batsman declared him as the easiest African bowler..All indian batsman are hitting steyn left right n centre..its a pity he should retire.

Steyn was a fast bowler and batsman feared of him - now he is a trundler and all hit him.

same is going to happen with aaron n umesh if our coaches don't learn.

Harshall Patel has an ER of 9.44 and picked up no wickets in 3 matches so far...why is he such a certainty in the RCB side and Aaron is sitting out in most games. !!!!

This is quite disappointing and discriminatory treatment from Kohli really. I dont know how much of it is influenced by Vettori/Donald but as captain I expected better.

Milne and Aaron are just given a game or two and dropped straightway.

Yesterday's match.

Bhuvi was great.

Bowled a brilliant first over and got the danger man out to a beautiful in swinging delivery.

Bowled beautifully in the death too.

4/29.To top it ....got the purple cap too.

BK has comeback brilliantly after that poor performance against RCB. Looks like he has rediscovered his swing and he is bowling at a decent pace of 135-140K too.

Fluck 3 wickets in the last over...when batsmen are trying to get whatever they can get their hands on.

:facepalm:this being a MOM performance shows the quality of the match played.

Ishant bowled 135 k to 147 k today.  But bowled too many deliveries on the leg side and got hit badly as a result. He bowled some good yorkers and short balls in between but , overall, a disappointing effort.
