Kohli has played non stop cricket for India in last two years .Even Dhoni had rest during Srl series and during Aus tour .Most others were rotated in last 2 years and only Kohli has played non stop cricket for India that too mostly away from home and is clearly close to burn out . There is no need to risk Kohli in Bangladesh when we have a massive winter season coming up with series against SA SRL Pak and Aus in 6-8 months If some online fans wants to whine then who cares.They will also be singing his tune if he wins the series against SA and Pak

A series with minnow should be used to try out our new players who are not able to break into the playing 11. Lol at people talking about skipping IPL. IPL is much bigger than these silly bilateral series'. IPL is the biggest tournament organised by BCCI and your think they will allow their marque players to skip it. rkt.india Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 No one is asking him to quit IPL. They play 42 hours if cricket in 50 days of IPL. He will still have 2 week's after IPL. He isn't a 40 year oldie. His first test as a captain officially and he is skipping. Such a shame.

Cant believe he is fit to play IPL for 2 whole months and has enthusiasm to give send offs but doesnt feel its important to play a test match. You cant let attitude like this fly. Maybe this is his response to all the drama from BD after WC ? You seriously think BCCI would allow Virat to just skip IPL ???
