Scarves Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 : | :| :||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| :||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| why? WHY CAN'T WE HAVE NICE THINGS? I'VE SEEN TOO MUCH OF INDIA PLAYING HERE.
G_B_ Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 India is touring Aus for the limited overs only. Its similar to what Australia have been doing for the past 4-5 season and breaking up their limited overs and test tours. This is part of the new cycle.

Scarves Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 I've seen a lot of India in Australia. I want to see someone different. I want to see ODIs against NZ & WI not ODIs against India again and again.
Gunner Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Have mixed feelings about this one :| Can't remember the last time we toured the West Indies for Tests, 2011?
The Realist Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Wish England had toured. Erm what about Dhoni's record v England?
veer Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I am bored at playing/watching Ozzies too.. Must be playing for a charity it seems.
Texan Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I have got tired of watching India-Australia matches too. Why can't we look outside Australia, England and Sri Lanka for playing cricket against? And what really have we learnt after all those losses in Australia? Are we going to send the same sorry team again that just can't compete in Australia? Has there even been an analysis of what can be changed? Are we going to spend more time getting acclimatized this time? I don't see how results will be any different without extensive legwork before the tour and knowing how the BCCI works, that is always an afterthought. Moolah comes first, which Ind-Aus matches guarantee. Also, can we please have more Tests between India and other countries? Why are Ind-SA and Ind-NZ Test series restricted to 2 Tests? Even in Bangladesh, couldn't we just play a 3 Test series? Can India play a 5 Test series in WI? Are commercial interests always more important than watching India play different teams rather than the same old teams?

Texy Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Playing India is a major cash cow for ACB, so no surprises there. I wouldn't mind playing Kiwis at home.
Temujin Khaghan Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Can we please play Pakistan...its okay even if we lose, but i badly need some variety. its getting tedious watching same old same old teams

These intra big 3 matches are testing the patience of cricket fans. Personally I want more variety.
gakgupta Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 yup....too much of one day cricket....i wish we have more test match cricket....May be BCCI is scared of players becoming injured and unavailable for IPL...
IKnowU Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Complained when we had too many games against the mighty loins now we are complaining against good competitive cricket against Australia? :headshake:

Please cite recent history and show me how India-Australia games in Australia are competitive?
