diga Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 we will never know if Kalam planned to resign if Sonia Gandhi had staked her claim to form the govt...
Gambit Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 What is the point of the OP? That article is 13 years old.
seedhi Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Ramchandra Guha on Dr Kalam: Why Kalam can never be the Greatest Indian ......... Regarding Kalam's vision for India, Guha said, "His vision for India is totally confused. Its incoherent and inconsistent." "Kalam benefited from being the good Muslim at a time when Dawood Ibramhim was the bad Muslim,"he added. .......... http://www.firstpost.com/india/why-kalam-can-never-be-the-greatest-indian-371926.html
diga Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Ramchandra Guha on Dr Kalam:"His vision for India is totally confused. " but normally he did not wear glasses.. he had a perfect 20-20 vision :winky:
Sachin=GOD Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 What is the point of the OP? That article is 13 years old. These days there's not much point to most threads on ICF.
Anitha Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 How are the people involved in this thread any better, using this opportunity to bash other's political views?
mishra Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Raghav and likes wants to take high ground against fellow icfers but has nothing to say against Ashutosh, Sagarika, Sanjay as they are political allies or Guru. They deserved to be bashed for their twisted views against one of greatest son India has produced I thought icfers are better than AAP parrots.
RedFever Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 First attempt - Second try - Finally gets it right the third time.
coffee_rules Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 We all change opinions , views , as we age. We cant hold somebody's views expressed 13 years ago , maybe now they have a different view if APJ.
Precambrian Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 We all change opinions ' date=' views , as we age. We cant hold somebody's views expressed 13 years ago , maybe now they have a different view if APJ.[/quote'] There are two things that drive such U turns: 1. Realization that the earlier opinion was rather crudely formed - on the basis of incorrect/incomplete analysis. This would entail a honest admission of being wrong earlier when the new opinion is formed. Eg - MJ Akbar and his views on Modi. 2. The object of opinion has undergone a massive change in the intervening period - resulting in a change in the opinion regarding it - without compromising the principles or basic stand of the opinion maker. Eg - Jayalalitha since the turn of 20th century. I don't think Sagarika falls in category 1 or APJ falls into category 2.

She falls under category 1 , but too egotistic and self-centered to accept she is wrong. That's probably category 3 - plain dumb to realize that things you write on Internet has HDD memory.

Whenever confronted on her non criticism of UPA, she produces a random article published in 2004 or 2005 to 'prove' her absence of bias :haha:

coffee_rules Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Too sad, that instead of covering this great leader's funeral, MSM is focusing on the hanging of a convicted criminal, a person who aided and abetted terrorists in killing 250+ people.
