According to sources, the arrested terrorist may be linked to the recent attack in Gurdaspur of Punjab. Identified as Usman Khan, the terrorist is believed to hail from Faislabad in Pakistan and is a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) operative. Sources also said that he came to India last week. While three of them stayed in Gurdaspur, others came to Jammu and Kashmir to possibly target the Amarnath Yatra. This claim is, however, subject to further investigation. Reacting to the development, former J&K chief minister and Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad congratulated the security forces and termed the catch as a "big achievement". He said, "I congratulate the forces. Arresting a terrorist alive is a big thing...Pakistan has been exposed completely." After hours of gunbattle between the forces and terrorists following an attack on a BSF convoy, one terrorist was caught alive while another was killed on Wednesday in Udhampur area of Jammu and Kashmir. This came after terrorists ambushed a BSF convoy, killing at least two personnel and injuring eight others. A terrorist was also killed in the gunbattle. Sources said that the Union Home Ministry had earlier issued an advisory to Jammu and Kashmir Police, warning them of a likely attack. They knew the Streets of Mumbai and exactly knew where they need to strike and infact found jews in India. This guy dosnt know where is ****-hole is. He may have recieved some training but nowhere near Kasab Gang.

If we take 13-14 years to hang a terrorist because consciously we don't want to make a wrong decision then how could our society take a decision that would deliberately put thousands at risk. Think logically. Who gives us rights to make that decision. Places like Punjab, Raj, Guj and Delhi are at high risk of such attack. Once we have anti missile defense that will work full proof, I am sure we will take that decision as well. Until then, I agree few lives will be lost here and there for a greater good but we cannot go offensive.

Do you think that the Pakistani Army which is shamelessly and selfishly using India and its own citizens to stay in power would want to risk using nukes that would wipe out Pak (and their own existence) for the next 100 years or so?

Did he surrender without any fight ?? If this guy is a terrorist then first thing police or BSF or army should have done is interrogate him and torture the bastard, not allow him to give interviews :facepalm:
