Looks like the irony is lost on everyone...while trying to pick on what was an incredible breath taking shot....they fail to see the scoreboard at the bottom :giggle: No this was not a recorded clip from a EA sports cricket game....This actually happened in an actual international game....240 to 246 with that stroke. Yeah bring in the hate

Give Nohit next 2 tests and drop him from tests if he doesnt perform... fair enough?

qZ9zRTb.gif Apart from ABDV can anyone else pull this shot? This is probably a shot that will be included in every cricketing montages everywhere
1) Kulasekara 2) Indian pitch 3) Flat Indian pitch 4) One dayer 5) Had enough lives seriously this lame reason is why Rohit sharma is called "taulented" ignoring how horrible his defense is. If you ask me to pick between Ishant and Rohit to survive 3 overs to save a test i would pick Ishant 10 out of 10 times.

Nope Not fair....never got an extended run.....chopped and changed too often.....that does not qualify as a long run. I would say the next 2 tests and the SA series and take a call on him. that would be fair. Trust me lot of people who are wishing for Rohit's failure,if he fails or is dropped forever,he would be remembered as the greatest tragedy of Indian cricket regardless of his world record shattering accomplishments in ODI's and reputation of being the one of the greats of the T20 format.

Thta one freak Steyn dismissal and his "defence" is labelled "weak" and multiple examples of his game changing and other-wordly performances but he is not "talented" Cmon...give the guy a break

People have batted against Kulasekara, played on Indian pitches, played on flat pitches, have gotten several chances and have played one day matches before. Still none of them reached 264.

How can you say that? One look at Sehwag and you would say some one who is a LOI specialist and not made for test cricket. You look at Bevan(apart from his un-aussie like short ball problem) and will think,he will do great at tests with his temparament and his style of keeping it along the ground and picking his battles. Doesn't work that way...Rohit has an ability to play late, very late that would make him tailor made for test cricket....He is no Gayle or Mccullum with all his all crash and boom style but he still has almost equivalent ability to hit 6's at will and make it more classy.

Yes, so late that the stumps are down by the time his bat comes down...

Sehwag despite being a dasher had a very decent defense to keep the good balls out. Nobody can be a good bat in tests without a decent defense. Secondly Sehwag used to remove fielders from catching position to run saving position with his style of batting, but Rohit doesn't need any fielder in catching or run saving position with his style of batting as captains know they just need to bowl at stumps and he will miss the ball soon enough...
