These experienced cricketers forgot their fundamental responsibilities of respecting their opponents as well as the umpires, and got involved in incidents which were clearly against the spirit of the game. Their actions cannot be condoned and must be discouraged. Don't understand the arbitrary decisions of referees deciding who is suspended and who is not. Aus and Eng abuse each other all the time yet nothing ever happens to those teams.

Vijy Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 He was already fined 65% of the match fee earlier. Since this will be seen as repeated offence, the punishment was harsher. Ishant losing his cool was entertaining, but this decision was only to be expected.

Still chandimal should be banned for the text test and not ODI's.If by Chance India where playing ODI's first then ishant would have escaped since he wouldn't be in the team anyways.Some rule has to be made about this.

If Kohli and co are smart they'll pick Pishant for the first two odis (normally India pick the original squad for 2 odis then the remaining 3 ) ,in that way the ban will be over and either way he aint gonna play in odis lol
