With his off-beat action, accurate and quick yorkers and surprise bouncers...he can be a handful.

no haven't seen him but I don't beleive there are too many classical off spinnerrs/spinners left in India.

nadeem is a darter too, Saxena from what I could remember from IPL is a darter....then we have axar,jadeja etc all darters.

on Wakhare rkt is the best guy to answer.

In IPL 2015, Bumrah was just returning from injury and bowling at a much lesser speed than he normally does and hence looked somewhat ordinary.

Now, he is back to bowling 135 k to 142 k.

He was coming back after a long lay off due to injury. He was down in pace and rusty. Missed whole domestic season before that.

Wakhare looks very impressive in that video . Getting good fast turn along with bounce . Looks like a classical off spinner.  Want to see him in our A team.

Well a lot wud depend on the sucess of umesh in Aus

IF he doesnt do well

MsD will sing old song- bowler with extra pace give more runs

N expect the return of bhuvi n mohit

 

Aaron still i wud doubt even if umesh does well, but bumrah will debut soon.

Bumrah is also among wkts in syed mushtaq ali

 

Where is series against lanka being played?

BHUVI and Mohit at best are defensive bowlers who save runs, secondly there value in second and third spells even in odi 's outside India( pitches that assist pacers) is very less..why bhuvi is not picked in odi's- possibly thats the reason - his swing was a bit less and in second n third spell he is not impressive.

what I wanna Say is going back to trundlers ( outside india and even in india) is not the solution even if these fast bowlers (umesh, shammi,varun,ishant,) give a lot of runs.

trundlers will come n give a lot of runs and not even get wickets.

having said that I also wanna say that guys like Varun n Umesh have bowled a few balls on the leg and giving away free runs so it is not that the fast bowlers are not at fault.

what needs to do is identify genuine fast bowlers and work hard to improve them and if they fail , still show faith and improve them and if they fail, replace them with fast bowlers of equal pace and potential.

steyn is now getting replaced by kangiso...that guy is going to improve and very soon will become as dangerous as steyn bcos he knows his job is safe.

if varun n umesh don't succeed - they stretch too hard and that's when they bowl towards leg side n give away free runs.

what I wanna say is identify genuine fast bowlers and BACK THEM to the hilt.

yes Karun Nair is in the team but why select only Gujarat koz it should be india green with better selection

Gujarat team batting depth is not good

bcci.tv gave commentary in hindi longtime ago I do not remember when but in usa they showing live matches of india A.india B

He opens the batting too so probably better bat than Axar, not sure how good a Ltd overs cricket he is though

that's good to know..... If he is constantly topping the run charts... Given his ability to bowl, he can be the perfect contender with dhawan being inconsistent.

i don't  see a use for another frontline spinner especially an off spinner right now but if he is a consistent opener, worth the shot in tests.

Wakhare is already 30 years old.  It is a bit sad...looked like a good talent.

I have seen him bowling recently and saxena is a very good (& classical) off-spinner....His batting has been inconsistent....so can't really consider him as all-rounder...

Just as a bowler, he might not cut into the side as we have ashwin...
