Malcolm Merlyn Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Dhoni somehow believes that 2 spinners is the way to go in Australia.That too two finger spinners.This startegy has failed again and again and again but Dhoni doesnt learn.He claimed in the Press that we dont have a seam A/R.What the hell is Rishi Dhawan?Is he invisible?Or since he isnt a Dhoni man Dhoni will openly defy the selectors and say XYZ player doesnt exists?Its time Dhoni is relieved of his duties.He is the cause of losses. adi B Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 it is mind boggling.has Dhoni not seen the nature of Aussie wickets recently?.the problem is Dhoni believes the way india played in the world cup(3 pacers 2 spinners) will work here  but someone needs to remind him we played 7 different teams not named 'Australia' and won all of them ,the moment we did the same in the semi final,Australia murdered us  .this strategy just wont work against Australia at home ,it might work against pak saf,srl etc but not Australia Rightarmfast 1

bowl_out Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Though 2 spinners at Perth made no sense, I still don't have that big a problem that he tried them out...What I have a problem with is that he is so rigid that he wouldn't change them until they absolutely beg for a change... Kohli that way looks more proactive and flexible with his line upÂ

Enough to destroy the confidence of your "Fast" bowler. With due respect, Bhuvi is not "Fast"!Ashwin as a lone spinner would have worked too.
