T20 squad for WC

as I see it these are the only certainties in the side. The others can be filled it based on performance in the Asia Cup. My hunch is Dhoni will go with Pandya, Bumrah, Nehra and Yuvraj as the other 4.... Same as the Aus t20s. I am not sold on Pandya or Yuvraj. Asia Cup should tell us more.

Aaron is not in the picture in LOIs as long as Dhoni is the captain.

Even in IPL, Aaron has far better record in every aspect despite playing a lot of matches at Chinnaswamy where 180-200 scores are a norm.

I would have personally  liked Aaron in the team but he would have been in the team for SL series if he were in the reckoning.

We should've had another backup fast bowler. Who da fuq is Pawan Negi? He just came out of nowhere and suddenly he's in the worldcup squad? And why did the selectors even select Pandey for SL series, if he is not going to play in the worldcup? 

And finally selecting Rahane as a backup player for Yuvraj?? This team is destined to get fuqed in the first round itself.

Yes. He will be tested, will play against SL and Asia cup before World T20.

Aaron is even worse than Yadav. Should be kept as far away from the LOI side as possible.

No Leg-spinner in Asian conditions is a mistake, should have had Mishra, a genuine fast bowler like Aaron and also Pandey in the squad. Happy with the inclusions of Bumrah and Pandya.

Aaron has the best stats among Umesh, Shami, Aaron in IPL. Better than them in every aspect. I have posted links above. Do check them.

He is a good list A bowler with ER of 4.5 and average of 21.5.

Decent bowler in domestic t20s too.

If he can bowl at par with Jadeja or even close to him, in t20Is,  then he is a better selection as he is a lower order big hitter.

I would like to see him play from match 1 against SL.

Expected to see this team as it was more or less the same team which was there in Aus T20. Only surprises being Pandey being dropped and Negi making it to WT20 squad without playing a single T20. Dont know how fit is Shami. We should have picked atleast one quick bowler like Aaron instead of Shami. 

WT20 squad should have been selected after we had experimented with a few slots in SL T20 and Asia cup.

jadeja is a much better bowler than negi. So we will not be able to select negi in any matches.

Amit Mishra should have been selected, WC is in India, so a Leg spinner will provide a good option and variety to the bowling attack.
